One of those days

After calling practically every Wells Fargo branch in the valley, I finally got ahold of Nampa's main branch... the lady said that she'd get a statement out to me in todays mail. (hah... after two months its about time I'd say)

I talked to SNiP on MSN for about 20 minutes... very nice convo too :)

And tomorrow (if all goes, from the looks of it now it is) I'm going to meet Ben when I'm in Boise tomorrow. Nothing's going to happen between us... he practically lives at night, and he's a real closet case. Plus in three weeks I'm gonna be up in a different time zone for cryin out loud...

What else... did some dishes tonight *yay*... Went to WalMart to look for some bedspreads... They didnt have much of a selection but there were a ton of hot guys there ::drools::... And I got myself a lecklace thingy for $4... black white and green bead thingys on it, looks nice.

Goodnight folks!!

Looks as if my bank's computer system is still stuck in the era of stagecoaches...

It's been almost two months since I made my checking account at Wells Fargo and I still haven't received a statement yet... So I called the branch in Caldwell that I go to, and their computer system was down. I called the other branch and they're having the same problem *grr*

Lower taxes = more money for schools??

"Many of Idaho’s schools are falling apart. For more than a decade the schools and the state have been at odds over how to fix them. Now the issue moves into a 'remedy' phase. One alternative offered Monday: lowering your taxes."

I'm not one who drinks alcoholic beverages, but a few minutes ago my mom gave me a sip of Skyy Blue... yum!! It actually tasted better than I thought it would... considering its alcoholic and all.

Muahahah

<~~ thats me :P

Goes to show that I have way too much time on my hands, huh??

My mom has been nagging me all day about being on the internet... I haven't been on for more than maybe 15 minutes so far today... What set it off was when my grandmother called at 11:30 this morning... I wasn't home at 11:30 because I was at Chevron getting a Pepsi!! Oh and that hot guy at Chevron was working there too ::drools::

Later on in the day, my dad and brother along with myself all went to WalMart. I took back a watch that I got there last week... I just didn't like the way it looked... it looked too girly for me I suppose. So with the whopping $6.75 I got back for the watch, I got another storage container.

After that we went to the new Hollywood Video that's right there in the WalMart parking lot. My brother wanted to open up an account there (so now we have accounts at like 4 movie rental places). The store had just opened up a week ago, and some of the movies had a thin layer of dust on the covers. All in all a pretty nice little store, but like with everything else, it's about a 12 mile drive from my place. And (suprise suprise) there was a hot guy there too...

Well I worked on my Blogger template, and I still can't figure out where to put that </Blogger> tag that it needs to work right... I have it in one spot and there's one large post (which is in the right spot) and the rest of the posts are in a smaller cell off to the right, and the posts are constricted more and more as they go along... Then I move the </Blogger> tag on line and there's one post, and the rest are offset below everything else on the page!! *pulls hair and screams* j/k... Apparently I'm not doing something right or I'm just a moron when it comes to what Blogger wants in their templates...

And I'm still working out plans on meeting Ben on Thursday, since I'll be in Boise, close to his neck of the woods too.

Yep. He's gay.

So I'm here typing up stuff, listening to the radio, and the DJ says for people to call in to win tickets to an Eminem concert. This Toby fella calls in, he's sooooo flaming... So the DJ asks Toby what he thinks since he won tickets... what does Toby say?? "Oh gawd I've been trying to get tickets to see his concert... he's SOOOOO CUTE!!"

The DJ was silent for a few seconds... then he went to some commercials...

Here we go again

I woke up to sirens at 6:45 this morning... An ambulance (or "Mobile Intensive Care Unit" as the words say that are on the side of it)... just as I got back to sleep at around 7, a sheriff cruiser went by... one minute later another cruiser... Five minutes later, another ambulance...

Then as I was almost asleep again, after the barrage of emergency vehicles, my mom comes into my room, asking me where the phone is. I said that mine was out in the kitchen, "yeah I tried that one and it didn't work" she said... Thats right: I unplugged my phone from my computer last night so that if someone called me, it wouldn't wake me up. "Where's the other phone, do you know" she asked me again. "Outside" I mumbled... I left it outside when I was talking to Brandon last night. I was talking on my phone, and I brought the other phone out with me so that my mom wouldn't bother me. I moped outside in my PJs and got it... she just stared at me as I walked in the door.

This morning, Gomez's tail abcessed again... (it abcessed once back in June)So my mom and myself took him out to the vet. Now it was really something... I haven't been in the car with Gomez before, and he hates being in cars apparently. The whole 12 miles to the vet he was giving out these really loud and unusual sounding meows...

I talked to Brandon for quite a while last night, and I told him that if he was able to that he could come over to my place today while my mom and sister were out. Nope. For whatever reason my sister can't see her speech theropist today, so they rescheduled it for Wednesday. Brandon can't come over to my place (even if he is able to) because my dad and brother both have Wednesday off... So... yeah...

My mom called the vet after a few hours, and they said that they gave Gomez some different antibiotics. So while my mom trekked out to the vet to pick him up, I called Jeffery for the 24 minutes that were left on my phone card. (getting a bit off the subject... I am almost BROKE!! I got some cash from the bank... last time in a long time that I'll do that!!)

It's really neat talking to him... he and I are like two gossipy schoolgirls (well almost)... But given the circumstances we can't talk a whole lot on the phone (like I have to use a phone card, and I can only call him when he's home and the rest of my family is gone), when we're able to. *Maybe* if all goes, we'll call each other more when school starts here in a few weeks

I really haven't had any modivation to work on my template more today... Over the night I though of some things that I did wrong that caused the template to screw up... But I don't have the willpower to work on it. Maybe tomorrow...

A few days ago I was reading the newspaper, and I saw this Letter to the Editor that hits my opinion of this woman on the head. Now as if this letter isn't damaging enough, just look who wrote it:

It's time to stop all the whining, Ms. Weber

Jonna Weber, the chier opponent of adequate energy resources here in Idaho, continues to make quite a name for herself.

In my opinion, she has spent the past two years misrepresenting, misunderstanding, and misstating the issues surrounding the Garnet Energy Facility. Now, as if that weren't bad enough, she has the gall to to publicly attack the credibility of two of Idaho's foremost public officials over the past 30 years.

She ought to be ashamed, but of course she won't be. She is too sure of her righteousness. She has started to believe her own press clippings.

It might be worth a short review of the record.

She has said, at various times, that she is not opposed to more energy generation capability in Idaho, but that she just doesn't like the proposed location (neat her house). From the beginning of her advocacy for turning the lights out in Idaho, Ms. Weber has refused to debate the issues using facts. Her principle weapon is emotion.

In every arena - Canyon County, Idaho DEQ, and now the PUC - she has been a master of what is in my opinion, the big "half truth," which repeated often enough begins to look like real logic.

It is fine for Ms. Weber to have a different (if largely self-serving) opinion than that held by a former governer and senator, but she is way out of bounds when she questions their perspective and knowledge. She is even farther gone when she says they don't have Idaho's interest at heart.

Ms. Weber is one who repeatedly put her own interest above the interests of Idaho. It is time she spared the rest of us her whining that the sky is falling.

- George W. Nourse, Canyon County Sheriff

Hah!! Take that Jonna "burn-down-the-houses" Weber!! I'm one who oftens questions Georgie on occasion, but not this time!!

Brandon: i see
JunoSurvivor: b/c after you told me that you and carl have made out and stuff like the same day (or thereabouts) that we had... it made me feel kinda used :-\
Brandon: well don't feel used. If I had used you, I wouldn't talk to you

JunoSurvivor: well... maybe we just have different ideas of where we're at... I dunno...
Brandon: i think we do
Brandon: I think you are a great guy and fun to be with but I really don't see you and I being more than friends
JunoSurvivor: yeah...
Brandon: I do like you and I am sad to see you go to CDA/Spokane
JunoSurvivor: well in a way I'm kinda glad that we really dont consider ourselves "boyfriends" or anything like that
JunoSurvivor: b/c it would make it that much harder w/ me being up in CDA
Brandon: yeah, no kidding
Brandon: i really don't think that long distant relationships work unless you've been together for more that 3 or 4 years
JunoSurvivor: but like I said, youre the first person that's come close to a boyfriend for me, so maybe part of me is taking things way too hard
JunoSurvivor: boyfriend being a relative term...
Brandon: that could very well be
JunoSurvivor: so do you have alot of family over at your place??
JunoSurvivor: right now
Brandon: just me old pops
JunoSurvivor: oh hehe

Things look really whacked when you have tables inside of tables inside of tables inside of tables... Or with one post up at the top and the rest all smashed at the bottom of the page with this large gap between them. (Just goes to show that I have like no social life, huh??)

Just needs some tweaking...

Like with the Blogger tags and stuff, but the new layout looks like the picture thats on the right... If I have problems with it, I'll just go back to what I'm using now. But hopefully here in a day or two, I'll have it working.

And atleast 78 people were killed when a fighter jet in a Ukraine airshow crashed into a crowd. To me anyways, the past few days have yielded some really interesting stories in the news... But the main story on the evening broadcast of a local news station was about a radio station that uses wind generators to produce electricity, which in turn powers their signal towers in a remote strech of I-84 between Boise and Mountain Home. Umm... aren't nine miners in Pennslyvania and the scores of people who died earlier today in Ukraine a little more news-worthy than a radio tower??

My mom dropped my brother off at work this morning, then she called to say that she was at WalMart doing some shopping. After I got off the phone with her, I got on the internet and Eric was on. We talked on AOL for a few minutes, then he said that I could call him if I wanted to. So I ripped out a phone card and we talked on the phone for about 10 minutes or so.

This evening my family and myself went down to the county fair... I really didn't want to go, but I gave in and I did. I didn't go on any rides, just looked at the booths inside of the convention center, and the animals from the local 4H/FFA chapters. I ran into Amanda there, and she was there with a handful of friends. And yes there were a ton of guys there too!! And quite a few hot hispanics too :P

Inside the convention center was a little art show, with some pretty nice photos that people had... There was one of a time-lapse of some aerial fireworks... complete with a first place ribbon... Maybe next year I'll put in a photo or two...

Getting back to the people at the fair... There were two girls, maybe 15, and they were holding hands... I was with my dad and brother, going to the other side of the fair where my mom and sister were... So as these girls went passed, my dad looked back at them with his "what the hell...?" look on his face... (not a good sign if he infact doesnt know that I'm bi!!)

After seeing part of Channel 2's weather broadcast live from the fair, we all went home. My brother deceided that he'd drive home. Yay... We stopped by Wendy's to get some ice cream, but none of us had enough cash for it, so we went on home. From the Wendy's parking lot, my brother didn't know how to get home. "The courthouse is to the left, Pizza Hut is off to the right, does that help??" my mom said. So my brother gets all mad, my mom topped off the argument with "we're not going to be with you the whole time you drive, you need to know how to get around".

For the rest of the trip home, my mom or dad didn't give him any directions on how to get home. The route that my brother took goes over a river and along a narrow winding road that follows the river. He had this idea where he wanted to drive with the brights on... By this point we're on the winding road... So what does he do?? HE TURNS OFF THE HEADLIGHTS!! My mom and dad were literally cussing him out because they didn't want him to drive off the road into the river. I mean... he took driver's ed in April... in the early morning when it was dark... You'd think he'd know to click back the blinker to turn on the brights, not turn the headlights off... That all more the reason why I can't stand being in the car when my brother is driving... because he's a terrible driver!!

More stuff...

83 degrees tomorrow!! It's about time I'll tell you what!!

My mom sneaked home some soap from the hotel, so there was a new bar of soap in the shower. I used it to clean off with when I took a shower about an hour ago... The neat thing with those bars of soap that you get from hotels is that they all have a really different scent to them... So right now I smell like I used a can of Comet cleaner to clean up with *ick*...

And for one of those little surveys... this one I stole from Jeffery

Working on a new template...

Over the course of the day I worked for a few hours on a new Blogger template... I've tried it once before and I didn't do so well... For the most part it looks alot like the one that I'm using right now, but personally I think this new one looks a bit better.

A few days ago I asked the frequent readers of this to drop me a line sometime... After thinking it over, it was kind of a bad idea that I'm now regreting, so I've modified the posts/comments... just for my peace of mind. So if you took offense, I'm sorry... I didnt mean to cross the line or anything... it's just that my curiosity often gets the best of me, but in a way not knowing anything about the people who frequently read this kinda adds to the drama I suppose...

I talked to Brandon on AOL... well tried to... He wasn't on very long, he said that he had a headache... But we didn't talk about the relationship between us. Which was fine since I really wasn't in the mood to discuss it with him. I've come to the concensus that I really don't mind being with him, but if he thinks that he's just using me (and Carl) as friends with benifits, then I'll treat it as such by my standards... So that means no holding hands with him, no making out, no kinda-sorta having sex with him... If that's below his notion of being a friend with benifits, well tough cookie for him.

And I swear, right now I am really wanting a social life... Being stuck in a teeny town of 3500, there's like nothing to do... Maybe sometime this next week I can meet up with Ty (heh yeah right) or Dustin... just go down to the Flying M... bring along Amanda or Scott...

Oh I cannot wait until I'm up in CDA... I mean there's actually things to do other than watching the crops grow and lame out-in-the-boonies-kinda stuff.

Mom's back home

In my post below, I said that I sent an IM to a guy that I found on the internet who used to live by me. Soon after I put up that post he replied my IM, and we ended up talking for almost half an hour, then I had to go. At first I wasn't sure if he got my humor/sarcasm, but after talking for a few minutes we were more in-tune with each other.

Oh, we had one heck of a wind storm today... at around 5:30 our power went out for about 15 minutes... There was a ton of dust and smoke, and around 8 or so it finally started dying down. Also had a fair amount of rain, which is good for the forest fires about 90 miles north of here, but the wind just counteracts the rain, if anything.

By the time the power got back on, my sister, dad, and myself had to leave to pick my brother up from work, then down to the Boise airport to pick my mom up. So after getting to the airport about 45 minutes early, her plane finally came in. She was at a convention in Minneapolis, so she brought back a ton of little freebies: samples, keyrings, beanbags, etc...

What was so wierd was htat I couldn't help but to stare out the window towards Brandon's house when we went by it on the interstate... Both on the way to and from the airport...

And finally (I'm tired... *blah*) I put up a link to SNiP's journal. He's been reading mine for a few months now, so I spent some time looking over his journal, and he's a truly unique person *wink wink* Just to make it a level playing field, I might as well give out his link :P

I dont know if I mentioned this, but about 2 weeks ago I stumbled across someone's webpage who used to live a few miles away from me (oh and he's gay)... He's on AOL right now, and I sent him an IM, but he's ignoring me or something... it's been almost 5 minutes and he hasnt replied it...

Reason for the post below

Ok I was talking to Brandon on the phone, like we had arranged to do last night. We were talking about our relationship, and with me moving up to CDA late next month. At the dance a few weeks ago, I kinda had this suspicion that him and Carl were a bit closer couple, so I asked Brandon if he's been active with Carl... his answer: yes. So right there I was soooo friggin' pissed off at Brandon... I dont know if he was trying to cover himself or what, but he said that he had another call on the line, and he told me to call him back in a few minutes. So I did, and I wanted some more info out of him...

He said that he and Carl (like with me) have fooled around a bit, but that we're like "friends with benefits" to him, so neither Carl nor myself are really "boyfriends" of Brandons... So that eased things a bit, but Brandon and I talked about how I felt about the whole situation... that I appriciated the fact that I'm glad that he was being honest, but that I felt kinda uncomfortable in making out with Brandon and such, knowing that him and Carl do the same thing. But... well I just need to get things arranged mentally... because I still want to talk to him about it, I just need to get my ducks in a row and all...

convo with Brandon

I just got done talking to Brandon:

(Brandon's SN): Evening, I am back
JunoSurvivor: *yay* :-D
JunoSurvivor: I was talking to a guy in CDA... so I was kinda preoccupied... but he had to restart his computer
JunoSurvivor: so anyway... how are you??
Brandon: good despite my headache
JunoSurvivor: aww... :-(
JunoSurvivor: talking to Carl?? :-P
Brandon: a little
JunoSurvivor: oh
JunoSurvivor: gosh I've seen this episode of Frasier like 32532 times...
JunoSurvivor: its a good one though
Brandon: I HATE Frasier
JunoSurvivor: anywho...
Brandon: it is one of the worst sitcoms ever
JunoSurvivor: *melodramatically gasps* j/k
JunoSurvivor: eh... beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose...
Brandon: true dat
JunoSurvivor: seemsl ike there was something I was going to tell you...
Brandon: hmmm... what could it be?
JunoSurvivor: oh... now I remember... but could I call you in like 10 minutes??
JunoSurvivor: b/c its kinda complex and stuff to talk about on the compter
Brandon: well, I'm not really in a talk on the phone mood
Brandon: what kind of stuff is it about?
JunoSurvivor: mmm... like w/ me moving up to CDA for college
Brandon: i see
JunoSurvivor: and more stuff mixed in :-\
Brandon: do you just wanna shoot for shit online?
JunoSurvivor: eh... maybe but the on the phone I wont have the distraction of 3 other ppl...
Brandon: just shoot for shit
JunoSurvivor: k...
JunoSurvivor: well your the real... person (boyfriend??) that I've really had... and I really enjoy being in your company and all...
JunoSurvivor: but I'm sure that the distance and time away will just kill what's between us
JunoSurvivor: (hopefully "boyfriend" wasnt too big of a step...)
Brandon: na, it wasn't too big
JunoSurvivor: anyway... I just have this feeling like any relationship other that "friends" between us just wont work when I'm up in CDA and your still here in the valley
JunoSurvivor: out of the 9 months, I'll only have 3 opportunities to come back down here... provided that I can afford it and all
JunoSurvivor: and so that really makes things kinda sticky... :-\
Brandon: ahh, money is such a wonderful thing
JunoSurvivor: hehe... yeah which I'm slowly loosing :-(
Brandon: at least you have some to move
Brandon: oops
Brandon: I mean loose
Brandon: (I'm brain dead tonight)
JunoSurvivor: but I'm sure that my parents if anyone could pay the $90 airline ticket from Spokane...
Brandon: they should drive you up
JunoSurvivor: yeah they're going to drive me up there, but they're taking the van back down here, so I wont have any mode of transportation... atleast when I get up there
Brandon: maybe you should invest in an inexpensive vehicle
JunoSurvivor: yeah...
JunoSurvivor: I'm talking to guys up in CDA/Spokane... but I'm not looking for a b/f...
JunoSurvivor: just guys
Brandon: I have actually gound that having a boyfriend while going to school is hard cuz, at least for me, it is distracting and hard to get the woek done
JunoSurvivor: yeah... I can see how thats true...
JunoSurvivor: its just that I've never really been in a serious relationship... now that I'm kinda in one... its like I just dont want to get out
JunoSurvivor: plus... I dunno... I guess that...
JunoSurvivor: ::sighs::
Brandon: you guess that what?
JunoSurvivor: maybe I took this thing way too fast...
JunoSurvivor: I mean...
JunoSurvivor: it took me so long... almost a year since I came out to my friends and all... to find someone that oculd possibly be a boyfriend
JunoSurvivor: just when things get going, I move 425 miles away
Brandon: well you could always email, or write letters to people back here. I mean it is only shool, not like you are gonna die and never return
JunoSurvivor: yeah... true...
JunoSurvivor: well I'm gonna go... but could I call you??
Brandon: you could tomorrow
JunoSurvivor: that way I wont have to combat w/ all these other guys
JunoSurvivor: k
JunoSurvivor: what time would be good for you??
Brandon: about 1030ish
JunoSurvivor: night?? or day?? hehe... I'm usually up at both those times
Brandon: AM
JunoSurvivor: k
JunoSurvivor: well I'll call you then I suppose

Okay in the left margin are the hit/visit counters... I have a bookmark to their control panel, so I can see what time and date someone sees my page, their IP address, hostname (thats where I know that SNiP is from Canada) their operating system, screen resolution, all the good stuff like that :P

At any rate, AOL hostnames make NO SENSE at all!! cache-mtc-ac04.proxy.aol.com doesnt say where you are, as compared to my hostname: 1Cust104.tnt3.boise.id.da.uu.net

My brother had today off, so my dad took him in to get his driver's license. (Freaky I know.... hehe)

While they were gone, I stayed at home with my sister... I was on the internet and Jeffery was on. So I talked to him for a few minutes, and like what I did with Eric and Wayne, I whipped out a phone card and gave him a call.

We talked for about 10 minutes, and yes he has a very sexy voice :P

To be honest, his voice didn't sound like I had anticipated, but still it was nice to hear the voice of someone that I've been talking online to for over a year!! hehe...

My dad and brother came back home... they also brought home some pictures that I dropped off to get developed... OMG there were some AWESOME photos!! There were some time-lapse photos that I took of the aerial 4th of July fireworks that turned out really cool!!

Aside from that, I've been working on the modifications on my Blogger template, so like I mentioned, I may not be posting a whole lot (if anything) for the next few days... And yes there will be some large improvements!! What I'm going to add is a new drop-down menu that will stay attatched to the top of the screen, even when you scroll down (in IE only... sorry Alex!!)... That menu will have ways to contact me, links, the other journals that I have linked, and for the entries of note (all of which are in that popular left margin right now... the pics and hit counters will still stay there though). And the template will also be modified so that it's easier to separate the posts, instead of each day appearing to be wadded together.

Last night I talked for about an hour on AOL with this guy from CDA... he seems pretty cool and all :) Speaking of guys, I havent talked to Brandon since FOREVER... maybe I should drop him an email, since atleast over the past few days we haven't been online at the same time. I want to meet new guys up in CDA, but I don't want to completely leave Brandon *waa*

And my brother has a pile of clean clothes (whites) that have been sitting on the floor since Friday... I keep dogging him to pick them up, but all he does is mumble at me. Anywho... I need to run into town to pick up 3 rolls of film that I dropped off to get developed, and I still need to clean my room too :P

bad move

Today was pretty uneventful... I was (and probably will be) online for WAAAAAY too long... cause we only have one phone line and all...

My brother had to work, and my dad and sister went to Boise for a while, so I was home by myself for like 3 hours (*evil grin* hehe...)

So, since I was able to, I did some... umm... *ahem* trimming down there... (like it didn't look any better beforehand folks)

Anyway I know I'm gonna regret it because for one I did a horrible job, and secondly it's starting to itch really bad right now...

Now for something completely different...

My dad cooked dinner tonight... he got the first few hamburgers done just fine, but while we were eating he forgot about the others that were cooking... So after plumes of smoke come out of the frying pan, I finally get up, turn the stove off and put the pan on a different burner. Then my dad realized what was going on, so he opened up the doors to the house to get some air circulating.

But what's really bad was that you'd think that our smoke detector would go off... but it didn't!! Hmm... maybe we should get some new detectors put in...

What else... Well it looks like the stock market went to all hell today...

Anywho... that's that for now I suppose. Peace!!

Fun??
What's that??

We left for our little camping trip at 9 yesterday morning. After we were on the road for 15 minutes, my dad realized that he left the checkbook and his wallet at home. So we take an exit off the freeway, turn around and go back home.

After driving for about an hour, we stop at a rest stop, let the dog out, and we all take our turns to the toilet. Then we went back on the road, continuing on to the campground. When we were about 5 miles away from the campground, the dog throws up in the van. Yay... so we pull over and clean up the mess, but now the van smells like... well it smells bad... So I got some deoderant out of my bag, put some on a paper towl, and put that atop of the spot on the carpet. That worked for the most part, but until we got home, we always kept the windows down. *I knew I should have brought along some colonge...*

We get to the campground, just to find that it's all closed up because it's undergoing renovation. Damn... So we did a 35 mile backtrack, just to take an additional 25 mile trek to yet another campground.

So we get to this other campground... It has 13 little spots ("spurs" as they call them)... We usually stay in one of two particular spurs. Both were taken...

The tent was a pain in the ass to get up... one of the poles kept falling off, collapsing one of the sides. It wasn't even dark, and it collapsed four times on its own. My brother and dad both went out to get some firewood, so I kept an eye on my sister.

It was kinda neat... at night (9:30ish) my brother was fishing, and we could see bats fly over the river, catching insects.

When it was time to go to bed at around 11, my sister would not be quiet... First she complained that it was too dark... then there wasn't enough room for her... then my dad was snoring... So after all of this complaining, and the tent falling in twice more, my dad (after a barrage of swearing) finally took her out to the van, where they both slept... kinda... My dad said that he only got four hours of sleep, and that my sister didn't get to sleep until 3 in the morning.

The trip back home wasn't so bad... I got some pics of deer that were roaming in the hills, and of the scenery.

Anywho, now that I'm home, I need to talk to Brandon... hopefully he'll be online tonight, because I really need to talk to him about me going up north and all.

Thinking

Hah... I did some packing for this little camping trip...

Trust me, like I'm not bored out of my damn mind right now... I'm gonna be up in the mountains with NOTHING to do AT ALL... Okay maybe take some pics, but aside from that I'm gonna be bored out of my mind. I can't stand fishing at all, which is what the rest of them are going to be doing.

My grandmother gave me a two-piece luggage set, so I used the smaller suitcase to put my clothes in. Or try to: it was too small. Back out to the shed... I got the duffle bag that my aunt and uncle gave me... too big. But I'm using that because the bigger suitcase is just way too cumbersome for the use that it was to serve. (Yeah and the duffle bag isn't??)

And I've been thinking about what will happen between me and Brandon... I'm going way up north for college, but he's staying here in the valley. I'll only have 3 opportunities in the 9 months that I'm up there to come down here in the valley to meet him: Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. As much as I love Brandon (did I use that word?? hehe) I know that the 425 miles and 9 months will just fuck up the relationship. Here I am, a month and a half in an actual relationship with I guy that I'm head-over-heels for, and in a month we'll be so far apart... for nine months...

Needless to say, I'm screwed in that aspect.

Being "just friends" is fine, regardless of the distance, because your not expecting anything more than a friend. But Brandon and I are more than friends... atleast I want to think that...

Which leads me to my next little bone to pick...

I did my regular rounds on the personals websites, and I came across Brandon's profile (on the same site where I met him) and I saw this:

     Relationship Situation: Single

Maybe I'm just kidding myself with this whole thing with him... If we kiss, make out, hold hands, meet up once a week, *TRY* to have sex... that doesn't constitute as "single" by my books... So maybe he's just using me as some kind of disposable boyfriend until I go up to college... if so he's really gonna piss me of so much...

I'm sure that Brandon's on AOL right now... (its 10:05 at night) its just that my dad is on the internet on the other computer, so I can't get online...

Okay now that I'm online, Brandon isn't... anyway I'm gonna hit the sack...

Talked some more

Last night I talked to Carl on the phone for about two hours... hehe... It was nice though, he used to live really close to me (although I'm sure that I mentioned that somewhere before), so we were talkign about all these people from school, back in like the 4th grade. And about some places here in town. fun fun :)

And this morning I called someone else in New York state that I've been talking to on AOL... So I only talked to Wayne for maybe 5 minutes or so... I was still kinda tired, and so we both agreed that we'd talk on AOL instead of me killing the time on my calling card.

Anywho... I have a TON of cleaning to do today... and tomorrow I'm going camping with the rest of the gang. So depending on what we all agree on, I may not be back until Sunday night. But I may (more than likely will) slap up another post later today.

Went on a small trek with Brandon

Last night I sent Brandon an email, telling him that I'd be going by his place en route to Boise. He said that he'd be able to tag along, just to call him before he left. So I called him this morning to make sure, and his dad answered the phone *oye*... bad thing because technically he's not out to his parents...

As I left, my brother wanted to come along. I told him that I was wanting to leave right then and there, but he still said that he wanted to go while he was there in the kitchen eating breakfast. So I went out to the living room, and my mom asked me if I was taking Frankin road out to the mall. I said yes, and my mom said just go, and don't worry about my brother (She knows that the way I was wanting to go goes right by Brandon's place, so I assume that she just put two and two together, and she probably knew that I would meet up with Brandon, so in turn she told me to go without my brother)

So I got to his place at around 10:45, and I went in for a few minutes. I was talking to him, saying that the first time I was there that I caught him brushing his teeth. We were in his bathroom, he was putting gel in his hair... then he said, "now you caught me brushing my teeth!!" then he started brushing his teeth.

After a few wrong turns (and some almost-wrong turns) we made our way to Barnes and Noble, and I picked up the movie that my mom ordered. We then went over to Best Buy where Dustin works, but he wasn't there. So then Brandon and I went down to the radio station where I won my CD from, and picked that up.

On the way back to Brandon's place from the station, we held hands as I drove... but we let go every time a high-profile vehicle (another van, semi-truck, school bus) because... yeah... :) Something like two guys holding hands really isn't all that socially accepted...

And here in 5 hours or so, my mom has to get ready to be out the door at 4, on her way to the airport then on a flight to Minneapolis for a week!!

Anywho... well that's that for now... adios!!

Interesting dream...

This morning I had a really interesting dream... I was off-roadng in a Jeep that was controlled by a remote control... like one to a VCR, just buttons, no knobs like the toy race cars. Anyway towards the end of the dream, I went down a water slide into a pool of black water. I couldn't see the bottom of the pool... so yeah that was kinda odd...

And throughout the day I was working on a page that I'll have a link to here in a few days. Everytime someone comes across this page, I can see their IP address and the referring page (like from Google searches and stuff) Anyway I'm putting together a page full of unusual searches that resulted in my page in the search results. Trust me, there's some wierd ones... hehe...

I called one of the RadioShack's up in Coeur d' Alene, and like the ones here in the Treasure Valley, they're hiring too *woohoo*. So all I have to do is send in a resume and they'll take it from there. And I opened up my checking account almost 2 months ago, and I still haven't received a statement, so I called Wells Fargo and they said that a statement was sent out, but they didn't know when. So if I don't get a statement, I'll call them here in a few days and they'll send me out a new one.

Aside from that... not a whole lot has happened today...

I watched the last few minutes of Huston Medical on ABC, and I was almost crying... I'm sure that its a good show, but I'd probably be too emotional for it...

Oh I'm going into Boise tomorrow... I dropped Brandon an email, so I may pick him up and we'll go together :)

Punching numbers

For quite a while I've been talking to this guy in New York state... Eric. So I was on AOL this afternoon, and I was home alone. So I told Eric that I had a phone card (a little 10 minute promo one off of a box of Post Corn Flakes) So he gave me his number, and I called him up. But first I had to call a 10 digit 800 number for the phone card, then a 10 digit password for the phone card, then 10 digits for his phone number. I dialed his number in wrong, so I had to start all over again... lol...

But it was nice, we talked for the whole 10 minutes that the card was good for, and actually he sounds alot like Brandon :) And he did say that I have an accent. Well... he really didn't... atleast not the stong Italian-like accents that most New Yorkers have.

I hopped back on the internet afterwards, and Alex sent me an email ("GET OFF THE INTERNET!!!!!!! I'M TRYING TO CALL YOU ~ALEX") Nooooo... I wasn't on the internet Alex :) I was talking to someone TWO TIME ZONES AWAY!! :P So I called Alex back... no one answered... I called back in a few minutes, and he answered, to tell me that he's talking to someone else and that he'd call me back. So I went back inside, and maybe 15 minutes later he called me back, then we talked for almost 2 hours :)

our conversation was cut short because my mom got home. My dad got home from work later on, then my mom and I went into Nampa to go shopping. We went to BigLots (no James... *waa*), and I got an 8 pack of soap and some nice colonge ("Moves"... by Adidas) and a few other things. Oh, and I got some hangers, well the name of the brand I found rather humerous: Closet Boy... hah yeah that really describes me!! lol...

Then at around 7 tonight we had a lovely wind storm... I was walking down to the store to get some pop, about 2 houses down it started raining... by the time I got out of the subdivision (about 9 houses down) it was really windy. I went by the park, and all the loose soil from where they're building hte new fire station was blowing across the highway, right towards my face!! Whats worse, I wear contacts!! So I managed to cross the highway with some sore eyes, and fortunatly my legs weren't sandblasted to oblivion!! I made it about half way up the parking lot to the store, then it was raining SOOOOO hard!! I've seen some nasty thunderstorms in the area, but boy howdy this one really took the cake!!

I walked into the store, and one of the ladys at the checkout just looked at me, and gave out this "Holy cow"... lol... so I just kinda looked at her, saying that I'd stay inside for a bit, just so that I'd give Mother Nature time to calm down. One of the flags on the front of the store fell off, so I went out and brought it in. Soon thereafter my dad drove in, and he gave me a ride home.

After the storm passed, my dad was outside talking to our new neighbor (I forgot his name!! Begins with a P...) Anyway he's this young hispanic guy... really nice and HOT!! I've seen him a few time before, but that was the first time we actually introduced ourselves to each other (*almost did "eachother" again!!*). From what my dad told me later on, this neighbor's girlfriend is really cold. Eh well... its not the girlfriend that I'm worried about :P

And is it a bad thing when someone stumbles across your site while they're at Arthur-Andersen's headquarters, searching for a friend at the UofI?? Or how about someone searching for hummingbird pictures from Bausch & Lomb?? hmm... hehe... You know, corporate networks are kinda nice because they're fast... but that doesn't mean you can surf the net on the company's dime...

Well... I guess that this concludes this post full of superfluous parentheses and ellipses... adios!!

Ran into an old friend...

Aside from finding the tick on my dog (which we got out... head and all *yay*), not a whole lot happened today...

My mom was making dinner, but she ran out of some noodles. So she gave me some money and I walked down to the store. As I got there, this green Toyota Tundra (with Washington plates) drove up, and the lady got out of the driver's door, and guy got out the passenger door... we glanced at eachother (*note to self, "eachother" is not a word*) each other, then he kinda approached me a bit... like he was going to ask me for directions or something... Then he said, "hey... uhh... do you remember me??" I was like, "mmm... no not really" He got this big grin on his face, "I'm Nick (last name)... remember now??" Then it clicked in my mind!! Nick and I were friends back in the 8th grade (well he was in 7th, we're a grade apart) So we talked for a few minutes, then the driver (his sister??) got back, so he had to go. But OMG he's HOT!! He didnt have a shirt on, and he's talking to me all flammy and stuff :P

But what's so odd is that, back 5 years or so when we were friends, he was much shorter than I was... When I saw him today, he was as tall as I am!!

And yet a new addition to the left margin is... *drum roll* CARTOON ME!! I don't have any camo pants, but eh I think I look kinda hot in that cartoon thing of me... atleast in that pic anyway. And I also added up that Outminds webring, since I kinda filled out that form waaay back in March or so *oops* So I figured that now would be as good of time as any to finally put it on.

Well... I'm out... peace \/

Deja vu all over again

I was talking to Carl on AOL today... I don't know if I mentioned this, but like 8 years ago, Carl and I both went to school together. A grade apart, but still :)

Anyway here's a bit of what went on while we talked:

JunoSurvivor: hey Carl
(Carl's SN): hey mike :-)
JunoSurvivor: hehe... I'm looking back on a few days ago when we talked... b/c I wonder if we even knew eachother back when you lived over here
Carl: maybe, what year was your graduating year?
JunoSurvivor: 2002
Carl: ah, mine was 2001.
JunoSurvivor: hmm... did you ever take hte bus to school??
Carl: yup.
Carl: every day.
JunoSurvivor: hehe... which bus??
JunoSurvivor: do you remember hte number??
Carl: bus... 8.
Carl: when i was going to primary.
JunoSurvivor: lol... I took that bus too
Carl: lol!
JunoSurvivor: holy shit this is kinda looney... lol
Carl: the only reason i remember the number was because of some stupid rhyme some kids made up one day.
JunoSurvivor: yaeh lol
JunoSurvivor: "bus eight your late"
JunoSurvivor: :-P
Carl: yeah, it was something like that. :-)
JunoSurvivor: lol
Carl: what teachers did you have?
JunoSurvivor: well how come I can't rememver who the hell you are?? lol
Carl: in elementary school.
JunoSurvivor: 2nd grade I had Ms. Brown... god I want that bitch to burn in hell SOOOOO BAD!!
JunoSurvivor: lol
JunoSurvivor: 1st was... Ms. McIntosh
JunoSurvivor: kindergarten I had Ms. Godsill
Carl: who for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th?
JunoSurvivor: 2nd was Ms. Brown
JunoSurvivor: 3rd was Ms. Forse
JunoSurvivor: 4th was Ms. Jensen
Carl: Ms. Jensen!!!
Carl: I was in love with her.
JunoSurvivor: lol... me too :-D
JunoSurvivor: I remember one day she was wearing white pants that she just bought
JunoSurvivor: and the class was reading silently I think...
JunoSurvivor: ...anyway she's at her desk and she gives out this "oh crap!!"
JunoSurvivor: lol
JunoSurvivor: and it was so wierd... like a 4th grade teacher kinda cussing you know
Carl: did she spill something? :-)
JunoSurvivor: but she had this itch on her leg, and she had a pen in her hand, so when she scratched that itch, she left these blue marks up and down her pant leg
Carl: lol
JunoSurvivor: oh she was so embarassed... lol
JunoSurvivor: then we had to go upstairs for... computers I think... anyway all of the kids (myself too) were lauging SOOOOO hard... lol
JunoSurvivor: b/c she led the class up the stairs and everyone could see it :-P
Carl: i remember one time she embarassed me in front of the class cause she left the room and i got up on a table and asked my girlfriend to marry me.
Carl: and she found out about it so during the spelling test she was all "The next word is "propose"... I will not propose to my girlfriend while the teacher is in the hall."
Carl: I got so pissed at her even though she meant it as a joke.
JunoSurvivor: LMFAO...
JunoSurvivor: lol
JunoSurvivor: yeah...
Carl: I wouldn't do any of my work so the next day she took me out in the hall and told me that if she was my girlfriend she would think it was very touched if I proposed to her like that.
Carl: I mean she would be touched.
Carl: whoops.
JunoSurvivor: lol
JunoSurvivor: oddley enough like the July after I passed 4th grade, she got married
JunoSurvivor: now its something like Mrs. Eichelburger or something
Carl: But my girlfriend dumped me for talking to some other girl on the playground.
Carl: Eww.
JunoSurvivor: aww... heh
Carl: I still remember... her best friend Christy came up to me and was like "Carl, how COULD you?"
JunoSurvivor: Christy...
JunoSurvivor: hmm...
JunoSurvivor: long blonde hair?? really skinny??
Carl: Yes.
JunoSurvivor: lol
JunoSurvivor: I know who yer talking about
Carl: Christy Mattox, I think her name is.
JunoSurvivor: yep :-P
JunoSurvivor: she moved a while ago I think
Carl: My girlfriend's name was Stephanie somethin'...
JunoSurvivor: Stephanie... *thinks*
Carl: I think it was Brown, but I'm not sure.
JunoSurvivor: hmm... only Stephanie I know of is Hammond
JunoSurvivor: which is nowhere close to Brown
Carl: Oh wait, maybe that was it.
Carl: Stephanie Hammond...
JunoSurvivor: lol
Carl: I don't know.
JunoSurvivor: lol
Carl: Hammond rings a bell.
Carl: I don't know where I got Brown.
JunoSurvivor: yeah its been a while
JunoSurvivor: hehe
Carl: Yeah, It musta been Stephanie Hammond...
JunoSurvivor: like Christy... but taller and less annoying
Carl: Yeah!
Carl: Except I'm not sure if she was taller in 4th grade.
JunoSurvivor: well back in May she was really tall
Carl: I always thought Christy was a spoiled little brat and she was always pissing me off.
JunoSurvivor: lol... me too
JunoSurvivor: well my mom sure didnt like her, I know that
JunoSurvivor: hmm... *whips out scanner & yearbook*
Carl: !!! :-)
JunoSurvivor: remember anyone else??
Carl: I remember I hung out with a mexican kid named Eric.
JunoSurvivor: rodriguez (sp??)??
Carl: Yeah.
Carl: Other than that, I can't remember anyone elses names.
JunoSurvivor: hehe... he's in a different yearbook... but I'll see what I can do
Carl: LoL, thanks! I'm gonna brb, ok?
JunoSurvivor: k
JunoSurvivor: grr... brother's in the room... and I gtg but I'll send them out later today

Interesting, huh??

I had to go pick my brother up at 2:30, and I swear I just melted when I drove out there!! lol... About 100 feet away from the road leading up to where he works are train tracks, and it was so hot that I could smell the oil in the railroad ties. And I've been drinking water like mad, which means I have to pee every 15 minutes.

And a few days ago I put up a little weather thing on the left marign, so you can see how I'm baking :-P

Another boiling hot day

Aside from taking my brother to work, I just stayed inside for most of today... 109 degrees isn't really nice, but there's not a whole lot to do when the AC doesn't work in any of the vehicles.

And Blogger has still been messing up today... Plus its like my journal doesn't show up on the most recently published Bloggers on the main page of Blogger... Because I made several tweaks to my page, but no one clicked on my page when it was on Blogger.com for a few minutes.

Hotter than the blazes

I took my brother to work this morning, that was at 11 and it was quite warm.

After I droped him off, I went down to WalMart, and I got some shorts, a cheap optical mouse (that works very well) and three large plastic containers, to put stuff in when I go up north next month.

So, at around 2:30 this afternoon, Boise broke their record temperature for today... and tomorrow we may break the all-time record of 111 degrees. So needless to say I'm spending as much time inside as I possible can :)

And I'm kinda ticked off with Blogger and their template server problems... and Bravenet with their counters going belly-up. Eh well... not much I can do 'bout that, huh??

met a ton of guys, and had fun...

...but I'm a little sore from all of it...

Early yesterday morning I had to go into Caldwell to get my 2nd bepatitus B shot, and while I was there they gave me a tetanus shot as well. Fun fun :) North Idaho College sent me a paper that the doctor was to fill out, showing my immunization record. But the nurse forgot to fill out the bottom part. So after I got home, I had to go back to the doctor's office to have that filled out.

My dad and brother left at noon to go fishing, taking the van... *grr*... So I called Brandon and he said that he would give me a ride to and from the dance in Boise. So I gave him directions to my house... Later on he called me, telling me where he was: about 3 miles away from my house. So I went out by the ditch to see if he'd make the turn into my subdivision, but instead he drove right behind my house and pulled into the Chevron, where he called me. I told him where to turn and stuff, in the end I was in the middle of the street infront of my house.

He came inside for a few minutes, and I introduced him to my mom, gave him a quick tour around my house, then we were off for Boise.

Brandon had to be at work by 5, and we left at 4, so we really didn't have enough time for me to stop by the radio station to pick up the CD that I won. Earlier in the day I talked to Dustin, and he said for me to give him a call, and we'd meet up somewhere. So when Brandon and I were about half of the way to Boise I called Dustin, and he said that he'd meet me at the Flying M Coffee House.

So Brandon dropped me off at the Flying M, and he went off to work. I'm not much of a coffee person, so I ordered an Americano drink, iced. What I didn't know was that I'd get a 20 ounce iced drink that's essentially really strong coffee... a triple shot. I took about one sip and I was like, "WHOA THIS IS STRONG!!" lol... so I went back up to the counter, and one of the ladies said that she'd make it a little weaker. After asking me what kind of syrup and milk I wanted, she dumped about half of it down the drain, added in some vanilla syrup and some milk, and it tasted just fine.

I got to the coffee shop about 15 minutes before Dustin did, and while I was waiting this guy came in... Kinda hot, maybe 6' or so, and hispanic. Well it turns out that he and Dustin are good friends, and he was there to meet him too (they've met before). I was sitting close to the door, so everytime the door opened I looked over to see if it was Dustin. So Dustin finally gets there, and I swear he looks like he's 15!! He's maybe 5'9" or so, and fairly skinny. Aside from a little stubble on his chin, he had like NO facial hair at all. So Dustin invites the hispanic kid over, turns out that his name is Denny.

Denny sat beside me, and him, Dustin and myself were all talking. Then one of Dustin's fruitflys, Ann, came by, and she pulled up a chair. As the evening wore on, more and more people came into the Flying M... gays... lesbians... some that I had no clue what they were...

At around 8:45, this guy came in that I met online like back in October. He didn't look all that hot in the pictures that he sent me, but he looks worse in person. (thank GOD he didn't recognize me!!) But the guy that was with him was HOT!! Looked alot like one of my freinds, Shay... But about 4 inches shorter.

After being at the Flying M for almost 2 hours talking to Dustin and Denny, the two of us went to a resteraunt a few blocks down and got some burritos to eat, then we went back to the Flying M.

While I didn't mind being with them, I was like odd-man-out: I didn't know Dustin and Denny all that well, so I was kinda hesitant and quiet, but not as much as I usually am.

Back at the Flying M, there was Lance, who's nice, but not all that hot looking, he could stand to loose a few pounds too. Oh hehe... the first thing that I remember him saying was "there was a murder by my house a few hours ago" And Enrique, a 25-year old who was a chatterbox the whole time... Once he left Dustin was like, "he's nice, but he get annoying really quick".

The dance started at 8, the same time Brandon got off of work, but Dustin and Denny didn't want to leave until 9:30 or so. So 9:30 comes and the three of us get in Denny's car and go out to Boise State's SUB where the dance was being held. We got there, then Denny realized that he left his wallet at the Flying M. So I went in to the dance and Denny and Dustin went back to the coffee shop.

Soon after I got to the dance, my mom called me on the cell phone. Luckily I was at the dance like I said I would be, a bit late, but there nonetheless. Because from all that I told her, she thought that I was with Brandon from 5 to 8, not being at the coffee shop and vicinity from 5 to 9:30.

Brandon got to the dance soon after I did, bringing along one of his friends, Carl. Now Carl is really nice, but his is the most straightest-acting gay guy that I've seen. And he reminded me alot of one of my friends, Sam... (hmm... people in Boise look alot like some of my freinds, huh??)

We were at the dance for about an hour and a half, but it was kinda boring. So at 11, Brandon, Carl, and myself all deceided to leave. We went to Brandon's car, and he dropped Carl off at where Brandon works, since Carl's car was there. Then Brandon and I went onto the interstate, only to find that they were doing late-night construction... lol... So it's 11:15 at night and traffic in the westbound lane is backed up for like a mile...

Then after a few miles, we got off the interstate, and we drove around... By the Boise Towne Square mall... just out and around... talking...

Last time we met up, I was driving and he had his hand on my leg, so I did that while we were together: my left hand was on his leg. Then a few minutes later he put his right hand on my left leg, but he took it off every now and then so that he could shift gears. Even though it was 75 outside, I had my right arm out the window. After a while it got cold, so I rolled up the window and after my hand warmed up, I put my hand over his hand that was on my leg.

He drove by his house, and before he got to it he told me about one of his neighbor's dogs. Oddley enough, as we came up to his house, the neighbors dog came running out, almost infront of Brandon's car. So Brandon slammed on the brakes and honked the horn. "One of these days I'm gonna hit that dog" he said, "and its not going to be an accident." Apparently him and his parents both have a grudge agianst this dog.

Okey, now for that little disclaimer: highly sexual content from here on out!!

As we drove back to my place, it was like 12:15 or so. I knew of a place a few miles from my house, so we went there and started making out. Then his hand started going down my shorts (hehe... after I undid my belt)

We kept on kissing and such, then he unzipps his pants... So while we were making out we were kinda exploring eachother (to put it lightly, k??)

Ummm... hehe... ::blushes::...

After that we kept on kissing, but he started giving me a handjob. I said that he could if he wanted to, just happened that he had a towel in his car (for the windows)... So we keep on kissing and he's doing that... and he keeps on doing it... nothing.

I had that feeling like I was going to finish, but when I realized it, my body kinda flipped out and that threw me back aways... So after maybe 7 minutes of him working me, he finally asked me if he should keep going or not. I said that he could if he wanted to, but that more than likely nothing would happen. So he went on for a few more minutes, then quit.

Now, the place where we were was kinda dark... about 40 feet away was a small streetlight that dimly lit a small parking lot for a historical site, and it was on a road that hardly anyone goes on, even in the day. So we really weren't concerned about anyone approaching us or anything. So by now its 12:50 or so, and he starts up his car and turns on the headlights. hehe... we didn't do a whole lot, but enough to fog up the windows!! lol...

So we did that hand-on-the-leg thing the 3 or so miles back to my place, then when I got home, got something to eat, and took a shower. When I was done with my shower, I went online a bit, and Dustin was on AOL. SO him and I talked for about 20 minutes, then someone else IM'd me. By the time I got back to Dustin, he had an away message up... saying that he was in bed *grr*...

Anywho... holy shit this is a long post... lol... well I better leave it at that, for now :).

*looking around in confusement...*

Okay right now I am so emotional...

I called Dustin and left him a message on his cell phone... and I now talked to him on AOL. The only way that Ty will meet up with me tomorrow is if I arrange on meeting Dustin somewhere at some time, and have Dustin call Ty to relay the information to him. I'm like wtf... why doesn't Ty just give me his goddamn phone number so that I can call him myslef?? I tried to explain all of this to Dustin on AOL, essentially I made an huge ass out of myself to Dustin, who still has no clue what the hell I'm talking about... *grr*

And I'm serious: I am so close to telling Ty "screw it" on meeting. He's bailed out on me four times and everyone says that he's nice and all, but I'm the only one that he's hesitant in meeting...

But I'm still going to Boise tomorrow to the dance, and more than likely meet up with Dustin. As for Ty, well my patience with him is shortening...

Story behind the bad box...

This morning as my mom and sister were leaving to go to Meridian, a DHL delivery truck came up our driveway. The man went to the back of the truck and pulled out the box. Inside the box were some CDs and headphones for my sister. My sister has ADHD and autism, and one of the effets of that is that she's really sensetive to some sounds. The CDs have acoustical music on them, along with scratches, scrapes and clicks in the background, supposedly to make her threshold a little lower. The CDs aren't cheap: they're $55 each.

The guy left, and my mom opened up the box. There were three pages of the Wisconsin State Journal crumpled up, surrounding the CDs and headphones which were poorly covered with bubble wrap. So one of the CDs had the cover broken off, the other CD had damage to the spine of the case. One of the speaker to the headphones was snapped off of the head loop, and it was broken in half with wires dangling out of it. It's almost like someone took a baseball bat and just smashed the daylights out of that box...

So while my mom and sister were in Meridian, my dad played phone tag with this DHL joint and the place in Wisconsin where my mom ordered the CDs and headphones from. And naturally both companies (DHL especially) have no clue whats going on and just forwarded my dad to someone else who in turn forwarded him to yet another person and so on and so on and so on...

hmm what else... Oh this company out of Connecticut wants to build a natural gas power plant outside of Fruitland. hah!! Soon to be popular names in Payette County: Jonna "burn-down-the-houses" Weber, Reed Weber, Penny "yell-at-the-county-commissioners" Steadham, Jamie Hunihan, Tim "burn-down-the-houses" Hunihan, Cliff "wanna-be-mayor" Martin, Janet Martin, Sheri "yell-and-cuss-at-the mayor (not Cliff though)" White and all of those Citizens For Responsible Land Use hooligans. Oh and lets not forget Deloris "it-wasn't-lying-it-was-subterfuge" Cram and her partner in crime David "yell-at-the-Commissioners-and-get-kicked-out-of-the-public-hearing" Cram.

Oh and since the company is from Connecticut, what are the odds that the power will stay in Idaho as compared to the one that Idaho Power wants to put near me?? Hmm??

And I had an interesting talk with Brandon (or someone) on AOL:

(Brandon's SN): hello
JunoSurvivor: hey :-)
JunoSurvivor: whats up??
Brandon: not a whole lot, i just beat up my friend carl.
JunoSurvivor: :-\
JunoSurvivor: why??
Brandon: he is a pansey.
JunoSurvivor: beat up you mean like fist fight or a verbal barrage on AOL??
Brandon: i punched him.
JunoSurvivor: eeks
Brandon: several times.
JunoSurvivor: just for the heck of it or did he do somehting to piss you off??
Brandon: I actually only hit him once while he tried to hit and hurt me several times
Brandon: that was him talking to you, not me
JunoSurvivor: oh... I see..
JunoSurvivor: ??
Brandon: I am going to kill him before he kills me.
JunoSurvivor: :-\
Brandon: this is Brandon, how are you?
JunoSurvivor: quite frankly a little confused...
JunoSurvivor: was someone else on your computer??
Brandon: no, I am over at my friend carl's house and he decided to IM oyu when oy u got on
JunoSurvivor: oh I see...
JunoSurvivor: ok
Brandon: Brandon is being really mean to me.
JunoSurvivor: aww.. :_9
JunoSurvivor: * :-(
Brandon: he just bit me.
JunoSurvivor: aww poor carl :'(
Brandon: see, I am a mean person O:-)
JunoSurvivor: ah hehe
JunoSurvivor: still there Brandon or carl or whoever the hell is on that keyboard??
Brandon: it is carl now.
JunoSurvivor: k... just trying to figure out who 'm tlaking to
Brandon: i don't know who i'm talking to...
JunoSurvivor: lol
JunoSurvivor: Mike
Brandon: but that's ok.
Brandon: hello mike.
JunoSurvivor: lol
Brandon: i'm carl, but you knew that.
JunoSurvivor: yeah I kinda did lol
Brandon: i think brandon showed me a picture of you.
JunoSurvivor: hehe maybe he did...
Ok did you get that?? hehe...

And tomorrow I'm going to that dance in Boise. I have to pick up my Red Hot Chili Pepper's CD from 100.3's studio before 5, then I have to meet up with Dustin somewhere (not with Brandon like my mom thinks because he has to work 5-8) hehe and Ty wanted for me to arrange on when and where to meet Dustin, and to have Dustin call him to tell him all that stuff and blah blah blah yada yada yada... But the dance starts at 8, so there's that 3 hour gap from 5-8 where I'd like to be with Brandon, since - dance aside - it's our only time meeting, but eh well... I'm making applesauce out of apples here (or lemonaide out of lemons if thats your take on it)

Now I'm suspicious...

For the past 2 days I haven't gotten anything in my Hotmail email... nothing... And I get some joke emails from a place that I signed up on. Plus MSN messenger has been kicking me off saying that I'm signing on at another location. Like how fudged up is that?!?!

Similarly, AOL has been kinda odd with me too, but not as much as MSN. *darn Microsoft monopoly* j/k

I talked to Ty on AOL earlier today, he said that he'd call me sometime before 3:30 today. Mmmhmmm... I got on AOL at 7:30 and he IM'd me, apologizing. I said that it was fine, and that he can call me up until 9:30 or so tonight and from like 11:30 to 3 tomorrow. He said that he'd try. Well if he wants to meet up with me on Tuesday, he'd better get his rear in gear because the time is waning...

So I guess that I'm kinda up in a bind about Tuesday... Ty, Brandon and Dustin all want to meet up, but by the way it looks now we can't do it all at the same time. Well maybe we could, but I'm sure that they're sick and tired of me dogging them with the whole situation...

Oh and in today's Idaho Statesman, there was a picture of Logan, the guy at the dance back in April who (then) was the only guy who showed any kind of interest in me. And he was also in some video that Channel 7 shot when they were at that protest yesterday.

And the more that I heard out of that Fred Phelps Jr. fella... UGH I just got soooo pissed off at him... He was on TV griping about sodomy laws and stuff... Surely he hasn't given his wife anal or anything. Heck with sodomy laws, I'm this close *almost pinches thumb and index finger* to taking a red-hot branding iron and shoving it up his ass...

I mean c'mon, who in Idaho even enforces that law?? Hey knowing some of the people in Idaho, it was probably drafted by the same people who made it illegal for a man to give a woman a box of chocolates that weigh less than 50 pounds. It's a silly superfluous law that's just hogging up room on the pages of Idaho's code books...

Lotsa phone calls...

...from people wanting to see the car that my dad is selling. Whats even more odd is that they all call at once... This morning we had 3 calls within an hour, and 3 more calls this afternoon within 30 minutes. All in all 2 people came out to test drive it.

My dad was on the ohter side of the ditch from our house, waiting for the first person to return the car from their test drive when someone else called wanting to talk to him about it. My dad took his other car from our house, out of the subdivision and onto the easement between the ditch behind the house and the highway, so either my dad had to drive back around to our house, the man could call back... or... I could throw the phone about 25 feet over the ditch, and have my dad catch it.

So, what did I do?? I threw my new phone over the ditch to my dad. Who caught it *yay*

As it is right now, one person is interested in buying the car, and another said that he'd consider it.

But here's the thing that I didn't get: everytime my dad was talking to these people on the phone, he would always say that "his son bough the car"... Umm... I didn't buy it, nor did my brother... my dad's the one who bought the car!! So why is he saying that one of his sons bought it when it was him??

My dad had to work today, and the rest of the gang went to Boise to my grandmothers, so I was home alone for most of the day. I went down and got my haircut (seems like the 3rd time in 2 months that I've mentioned that...) Oh and one of the burger places in town had milkshakes for 99 cents. I looked thorugh the flavors when one of the caught my eye: peanut butter. And they're GOOD milkshakes too!! I never really thought that peanut butter would be a milkshake flavor, but I suppose that it is.

Eeek... last night I downloaded a virus scanner, so when I was getting my haircut and milkshake, it was here scanning. Anyway I HAD A VIRUS!! And worse yet it was in a file that Hewlett Packard slapped on my machine. It was a little virus called Cybertech. All of the websites that I went to said something different about the virus... some said that it was really bad, others saying that it's nothing. I dunno which it is, but it's off of my computer now.

Its official: I am was pissed off...

Well I didn't get to sleep until 2:30 because of the people two houses down lighting their damn fireworks... illegal ones at that. And the whole time there was a county sheriff patroling our subdivision, and they're lighting off bottlerockets and Roman candles, the sheriff does nothing. Then my brother lights up a sparkler as the sheriff drives by and the sheriff stops and looks at my brother like he's lighting an illegal firework.

Then folks at Blogger deceided to work on their servers, so only the people who have paid subscriptions to them could post their stuff. hehe, I'm too frugal to do stuff like that :)

My brother wanted me to take him to some new movie place in Caldwell. He has always been terrible in giving me directions... From what he kept on telling me, this movie place was in the middle of the Tom Scott Honda car dealership. So my mom eventually took him out there, and from what she said it was a really crappy place. Then they went to Red Robin and had some lunch.

Later on in the day, my brother wanted to go out to our old neighbor's (eeks I don't think that I mentioned anywhere in here that our neighbors moved out last week) new place waaaay out in the boonies. I gave in and drove out there, then while my brother and the former-neighbor kid were talking, they deceided that they wanted to go out to see Men In Black 2. My brother called home, and then I drove them out to the theater.

Other than that I just moped around for most of today... Brandon and I made plans on meeting up today, along with Ty. Brandon said that he'd call me today so that we could meet on a place and time, and Ty would call me to get that same information. Brandon never did call me, so at 7:15 I called his cell and left a message. A few minutes later he called me back, saying that he was with some other friends for the rest of the night. *grr*... And Ty's rapport hasn't been all that good... he still hasn't called me. Like it would serve much of any purpose now anyway since I'm not going out with Brandon.

But Brandon did say that he'd try to call me later today. There's a GLBT dance next Tuesday in Boise, he has to work right before the dance, so maybe I can arrange on meeting Ty while Brandons at work, then go to the dance with Brandon. But knowing the track record between the three of us, something is bound to screw up. Oh... one bad thing about next Tuesday... IT'S GOING TO BE HOTTER THAN HELL OUTSIDE!! Like 103 or something.

So next week is this big gay pride week in Boise, and some old Baptist minister from Kansas is going to come over to protest. Hah... good luck... the news said that he's only bringing along 12 or so protesters along, and I know that there will be more people in oppposition to the opposition that what this fella is bringing.

Had a mixed 4th

Today was kinda... I dunno...

I talked to Ty for a bit today, and I FINALLY got to see a pic of him!! And it only took me eh... 6 months and change. He's pretty hot, he didn't look alot like what I though he would, but still not bad.

When I was talking to him, Brandon popped onto AOL, and him and I talked a bit. He's still not sure on whether we're going to meet up tomorrow, but my mom said that I could go out and meet him. So even if Brandon can't make it, I can still meet up with Ty for a bit and my mom will never know!! hehe... sneaky Michael :)

And one hting thats been on my mind is that I've been pushing both Brandon and Ty alot on us getting together... And I've toned it down quite a bit because I know that eventually they'll get all pissed off with me.

Anyway I sure hope that Ty is able to meet me tomorrow... In August he's moving to San Diego *waa*, so I'll have to savor the flavor for the short time we're together.

My grandmother came over for dinner tonight with us. My dad wanted to barbecue chicken... lol... So we had 2 small chickens on a spit over the barbecuer. The wings kept flopping down and tips just pushed the coals around, so my brother had this wise idea to use safety pins to keep it all together. All in all it worked very nice, some of the best chicken breast I've had in a long time!!

Tonight we lit off some small fireworks, and we found out that hte city's aerial fireworks were at the high school. Very good display too, only 5 duds that I counted, compared to almost every other one last year.

Umm...

Could someone tell me where the aerial fireworks are going to be tonight?!?! lol... since like NO ONE knows where...

Too... tired...

Well folks I'm gonna make a nice post tomorrow... I'm going to see some aerial fireworks tonight, maybe when I get home I'll slap in something into Blogger... if I feel like it... since there's a few things that I want to write about...

Splurged :P

Like I posted down below, I splurged and bought both the concert tickets to Lifehouse and the tripod.

I went to WalMart first to get the tripod, and as I was walking out to my car, there was this guy outside by the doors selling some raffle tickets for his basketball club. So I bought some, just so that I could hit on him. We were both standing on hte sidewalk in front of the store, and he's still a good 3 inches taller than I am (and I'm 5'11"). And he was sooooo hot *dies*

I hopped onto the boulevard and drove down to Albertsons to get the concert tickets. But the Albertsons closest to WalMart doesn't have Select-A-Seat service. So back on the boulevard I go, down 6 miles to the other Albertsons, and I got my tickets. Now even if I wanted to, I don't think that I could have got better seats:

The seat that I got is in the C2 section... five rows away from the stage!! I just wonder if they'll allow cameras... hmm...

Tomorrow is the 4th of July, and I plan on taking my camera to the fireworks display tomorrow night, and try out the long-term exposure feature thing on my camera, and (hopefully) get some neat shots of the aerial fireworks.

Oh, and if you haven't tried out the new (well, kinda new) chocolate Reddi-Whip, MY GOD IT IS TO DIE FOR!!

I splurged ::blushes::

So I went to WalMart and got myself a tripod... then I went over to Albertsons and got some Lifehouse tickets at the Select-A-Seat booth. Anyway I'll go into more detail later today :P

Tickets or a tripod... tickets or tripod... tickets or tripod...

I've been deliberating over the past few days... Lifehouse tickets for $24 or a tripod...

Eh... I'll splurge... I'll get both... Next time I'm in town.

Plus I really need to shave... I have like 3 days of whiskers on me *ick*

07/02/02

My mom and brother went to town for a bit this morning, so I had to keep down the fort with my sister. Someone (Chris) was supposed to be at our place at 10 to work with my sister, but she called at 11:30 saying that she'd be late. Duh... So right around a quarter to noon my mom and brother got home, and a few minutes later Chris came.

While Chris was with my mom and sister, I went to WalMart to return a headset that I bought for my phone. The headset works just fine, its just that I can't get the darn contraption to say on my head!! lol... it keeps falling off, or if I do get it on right it's really uncomfortable. So I exchanged that for a new wallet. When I was there, I was roaming up and down the aisles, and I came across the hot guy from the dollar store... He was there with one of his friends, who wasn't all that smashing or anything...

After that, I forgot to go over to Albertsons to get concert tickets to the Lifehouse concert on the August 19th. Dammit... I'll have to buy some next time I'm out there. Or my dad could stop by one of the Albertson's out by where he works, I'll just give him the money and he can get the tickets for me.

Then I got home and I've been BORED OUT OF MY MIND... hehe... Eh I sure hope that I can meet up with Brandon on Friday. Actually I need to bring that up to my mom... see if I can...

And I still need to tell my mom about the dance next week... since I want to go to that...

Oh... hehe... I went down to the store to see if Will was working. He was. So I bought some gum, went through his line and just flirted like hell with him... lol... he's more than likely straight, but hey I wouldn't mind if he isn't!! And on the way to and from the store, David was outside working on his lawn ::drools::

Spoke with Alex

I didn't sleep too well last night... Having an ambulance go by at 3:30 didn't do much to help. And I was too lazy to turn off the ringer on my phone, and someone called us at 7:30 this morning and my phone woke me up. One of the few times when I forget to turn the ringer off on my phone at night... hehe...

Alex and I made arrangements so that I would call him today. But what I didn't know when I told him that was that my dad had today off of work. So up until this morning, I though that I'd be home by myself. Nope. At around noon I called Alex, and we talked for maybe 45 minutes. Then I had to go for a few minutes, but I said that I'd call him back in a few minutes. I called him back after 15 minutes, and we talked for almost two hours on the phone!! lol...

He brought up the fact that he's using a Pentax K1000 camera that he bought used, which is so odd because the 35mm camera that I used at school was a Pentax K1000. Really nice SLR cameras, even though they're practically antiques :)

At around 2:45 his little sister was nagging him for the phone, so we deceided to end our lengthy conversation. Kinda sad yes, but my left ear desereved a rest after having a phone shoved up against it for almost three hours... hehe...
