Happy Easter!! Continued...

Okey... I had a nice lunch with my family (minus my dad... he had to work) and my grandma out at Black Canyon. My sister took the camera like 5 times, but I eventually got it back :)

I though that while I'm at it, I'd put up some pictures that I took:

Black Canyon dam

View from about 15 miles past the dam

As for my guy issues... last night my mom asked me if I was emailing anyone else in the area other than Shawn. Then I had to spill my guts. So I told her about Jake, Tyson and Randy (I didn't mention Corey though... *whoops*), but other than their names, she really doesn't know much about them. Jake and I are still trying to hammer a plan out to meet this Saturday... which may be more possible if I have to travel to Boise to get the internet hooked up on my grandma's computer. Speaking about guys... I sent out three emails Friday night, and no one has replied them!! Gosh folks, if your not interested in me, don't drop the line on me... let me know your not interested!! But my mom is so in a bind about me being bisexual that she worries... and because she worries so much it makes it VERY hard for me to talk to her about my sexuality.

What else... lol... hehe... I had a week and half off from school, and what do I do with my senior paper?? NOTHING!! lol... actually I did do some work to it, but I need to talk to my English teacher about it, and that won't happen until Tuesday. We've only gotten to the outline part of it, and just the draft form of that. So there's the final draft of the outline, then the draft form of the paper, then the final part of it.

Happy Easter!!

My grandma just arrived at our house, and here in a few minutes we'll be headed off for lunch outside of Emmett.

Last night I told my mom about the other people here locally that I've been in touch with. She didn't have anything against it, other than that I found them on the internet. But I'll write more later today, I have to leave for lunch!!

Ugh...

My mom was bickering at me again because of me being on the internet!! I was only on for 30 minutes earlier today, and I got on as soon as my mom left to get groceries. So like an hour later she gets home saying that she tried calling home on her cell phone a few times and she kept getting our voice messaging service. Then she goes on about how I don't care if anyone calls, that I'm so dependant on the computer, I don't have a need to be online for more than half an hour a day blah blah blah... Then if I'm on at like 8:30 at night (after being online for only a few minutes earlier in the day), she gets after me some more, even though hardly anyone calls us past 8. Ya know mom... I really can't do instant messages and stuff like that from the school or from the library... what else do you want me to do?? I've said that when I get a job I'll pay to have another phone line put in, but she always says that that'll never happen. So... I'm kinda running dry here... We're pretty much stuck with dial-up internet because it will be another 5-10 years until my area gets cable or DSL service. (And yes, my school on the other side of town has a T1 line, but I don't think my mom wants to blow tens of thousands of dollars for THAT!!)

Okay... enough about that...

Last night I was watching the news (Channel 12's... they have a 9 pm show, then three other stations have it at 10)... it got to a boring part so I switched over to Law and Order SVU... pretty good episode considering that I missed the first 15 minutes of it. Had a kinda hot guy in it... he was a 18 year old or so who was molested when he was about 11 in the show... he OD'd on asprin when the show was half over, then they pretty much took him out of the picture and concentrated more on the molester. I hate it when the writers do that!! They drag this person's story for thirty minutes then they take him out of the show's story line. Following the molester's part in the story line is fine by me... but I want to know what happened to that hot guy!! Did he live?? Did he die?? WHAT HAPPENED?!?! Eh... it's just a show... nothing for me to get too upset over really.

A few days ago (I forget when exactly... I meant to write about it but it never happened) I heard as a rumor that the fire station here in town will be torn down next month so that a new one can be built. So that will be something to see... the current fire station has been there for about 40 years, and due to the way it's buit it's almost impossible to add onto it.

And today I did some random chores about the house that my mom had me do... break down some boxes... cut some old drywall into smaller sections to put in boxes so that BFI would pick them up...

Tomorrow is Easter, and my family along with my grandma are going to meet at Black Canyon to have lunch, and we'll probably get to see just how low the Payette River is (last time I was there it was really low).

And finally...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFFERY!!

(hehe... I was able to sneak online for a minute so that I could post this!)

How do I tell my mom...

...that I want to go through in arrangements to meet Jake next Saturday... Him and Shawn meet often, I know that. So pretty much the only way of me going is by me telling my mom that I'm going to see Shawn, since that's the only guy she knows about that I am in contact with (and it wasn't all that fun telling my mom that I met him off of a personals webpage... but that's where I've met everyone else... Jake and Ty...as well as Shawn). If my mom wouldn't worry over every little thing, I could probably just say that I'm going to meet "some friends", but that'll never work because she has to know everything about everyone. Actually... I'll have some money this next Saturday... so I could just tell my mom that I want to go shopping in Boise, and then I'll have a better chance of being able to go. And then I could meet them at a coffee place or somewhere. I called Jake yesterday afternoon (the only way I can call him is by calling his friends cell phone) and some guy answered it... it wasn't Jake... but whoever it was thought that I was Derek... I assume that Derek is one of Jake's friends) So I left a message with the guy that answered the phone, and he said that he'd tell Jake that I called. I also added that I would like for Jake to call me at like 11:15 or so this morning, since at that time I was home by myself and I wouldn't have to worry about anyone in my family to worry me. But I never did get a call back from him... eh well... I can email him on Monday, since at school he'll have access to the internet and all.

Oh... and the guy that I sent an email out to like a week ago... well I sent him another email through xy.com's little mailer thingy and he emailed me back. Turns out that I didn't do something right, so Randy never did get my message. We've sent a few emails back and forth, but I'm still seeing on how things will go... I want someone who's out a little more... someone who's not a real closet case... I sent him an email with my picture attatched... but I'm stilll waiting for a reply back from him. Randy... that name reminds me of two teachers that I had/have... And yesterday I was talking to Vince, a guy that I met off of a GLBT website (who is REALLY HOT!! Looks like a younger Tom Cruise!! Only problem is that he's in Massachusets, and here I am in Idaho). His AOL screen name has a few numbers along with "vin" in it... so every time I saw the "vin" part of it, I kept on thinking of the meterologist on Channel 12, Vin Crosby.

hehe... there's an electrician here at my house right now... he's outside... right by where I am... I can hear him talking. Can't understand what he's saying, but I can hear him. He's looking around, checking the cicuit breakers and stuff, seeing where he can hook up another line so for our centeral air that we *may* be getting.

Powerless!

Okay... for 45 minutes this morning we were without power. Turns out that a construction crew didn't notify Idaho Power that they would be digging (so that Idaho Power could mark where the lines were), and they hit some underground power mains that shorted out, leaving about 7,500 people without power for about 45 minutes. Other than that, and me talking a trip to WalMart to get some medicine for my sister (and running into my friend Klint), today was pretty uneventful... I got some job applications filled out, I just neet to call some of the places because I have some questions about what to put on them, but that's easy to do.

Hmm... I still have some emails to send out... one for Kevin... one for Corey... and there's one or two in there as well that I need to send out...

Tomorrow I have to call Jake, see if there's any time next weekend we can meet up, maybe meet him along with Shawn and/or Tyson. My mom's boss is supposed to stop by tonight to pay my brother and myself for helping her move a few days ago... that should give me enough spending money for me to take along when I go see Jake... plus next Monday I have to take some pictures (and maybe video) of a wedding, and I'll get paid for that as well. But one thing that's been on my mind is how I'm going to meet Jake without having my brother and dad find out... I'm not out to my dad (as I'm sure I've mentioned quite a few times) and my brother kinda knows that something's up with me... but still... And I still need to tell my mom about Jake. She knows about Shawn, but not Jake... well... I'll figure something out I'm sure.

Jake called me back!!

But first!... some other stuff!

At noon today, the new resteraunt here in town started accepting applications... so I went down to get one. It's a really neat little place! From the highway it seems really small and cramped, but inside it's quite big. There were a few people at a table filling some applications out, but there was a stack on a counter, so I took one and left. Even though it won't open up for three more weeks, for the most part it's done. All that needed to be done from what I could see was that it needed tables and chairs, and some faceplates on the light switches and electrical outlets, but by large it was done. There may have been some kitchen equipment that needed to be installed too.

So I got back from there, grabbed some cash from my bedroom and went down to Chevron to get a refill of Pepsi. When I got back home I started filling out my application and the phone rang. It was Jake! We talked for about 45 minutes, and it was well worth it. Even though his mom kicked him out of his house, they still get along and talk quite often. She got into that regretful mood and wanted Jake to move back in, but Jake resisted. Then he mentioned that he and some of his friends have been hanging out with Shawn. Ohkey... Shawn is really nice, but he's distant with me... Turns out he BS's around his mom so that he can be with Jake and Derek (who is one of Jake's friends), which is good for him. But I'm stuck over in this little part of the valley all by my lonesome self! Jake did say that I'm more than welcome to go out with them whenever I get the chance, since they meet up about once a week. For the most part that's fine with me, but I'm not out to my dad... so if I'm gone for a few hours on a Saturday night with Shawn, Jake and Derek, then he'll be... not suspicious... but concerned about where I'll be and all. So I still have to live this double life with my dad, which isn't always easy. Maybe not this weekend, but the next weekend, if they're even getting together, I'll meet up with them. Actually... if they get together on a Saturday say at about 11 in the morning or so... that gives me about three hours to be with them before my dad would even know that I was gone!

3/24/02

Not all that much is going on... I went onto a web site with personals, and I found someone from Washington and OMG he's SO hot!! But there's no way I can contact him!! Here in like 5 months I'll be within 30 miles of him!! Ugh!! Well... I could contact him, but I don't want to pay the web site's stupid fee for it...

Oh, and Jonna "Burn-Down-the-Houses" Weber is on 630 AM... bickering about how ignorant our government is... God sometimes I wish she would just shut her trap... She's running for House Rep for my district. Yeah, I'm sure A LOT of people will support a woman in her campaign after she made threats over the radio, proclaiming that if this power plant that's proposed for my area goes in that she'll burn down the house of the CEO and co-CEO of the company who will be building the power plant. Plus she's using it as her whole politcal campaign... the radio program has been on for 40 minutes and that's all that she's been blabbering about... power plant this Garnet Energy that blah blah blah. Umm... didn't you say something about education when you announced you canadicy?? Apparently us STUDENTS WHO ATTEND IDAHO'S CRIPPLING SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES means jack squat to her... she just got herself her a free piece of the 1-hour radio program pie to bicker and gripe about the friggin power plant just because she's running for some seat in the house of Reps... screw us students who actually want to get a half-way decent education. Even on the radio she said that the Idaho State Representatives can't do anything to stop the power plant, and that's the same seat that she's running for because she's so ticked off about how our local goverment has been treating the whole power plant issue. Like that makes sense... So... shouldn't she be running for County Commissioner? Oh, and I'd actually be happy if she does burn down the homes of the CEO's (naturally poor ol' Randy and Mike would) like she said she'd do... that's a FELONY... people with felonies cannot run for or participate in public offices. So there's 10 minute left of the show... and Jonna's probably still flapping her jaws with her new buddy Dennis Mansfield. Okay... enough of that... I'm getting too ticked off... And no, Idaho Power's customers will not be paying for the power plant... get it right Jonna, you windbag... Idaho Power isn't even building the thing.

Tomorrow the new diner place here in town will be accepting applications, so I'll stop by there tomorrow.

Sheesh... I'm tired... later folks!

Packin' time

My brother and I had to help my mom's boss (Barbara) move from her place to a new house that's about 25 miles away. En route to her house, we stopped by one of my teacher's houses, she was having a yard sale because she's moving (I mentioned that in one of these posts somewhere...). After some bad parking (I kinda scraped my mom's van up against some metal mail boxes... didn't do any damage to the boxes or to the van, but the van has a faint grey scrape mark across the passenger doors) we went inside to see what she had for sale. Her and I talked a little bit, bought I neat poster of a skiier flying off a cliff (?), then we went to Barb's to help her move stuff. So all in all my brother and I spent about five hours moving stuff for her.

And lately I've been tinkering around with how this thing is set up... my Blogger thing... I added my iMood thing that I made a long time ago and pretty much forgot about... played with the counter... mostly aesthetics... for some reason I'm really not liking how it looks... Now that I have a counter up on my page, I can see info about the people who read this... apparently I caught the eye of someone in Minnesota who goes through Twin Cities Internet... this person's been to this page quite a bit :) Kinda ironic... I have family from that area of Minnesota...

Irony... I was watching the 5:00 news earlier today on Channel 7, and I just realized something that I hadn't before. Before the news starts, they usually give little snippets of what will be shown, like with today's news cast they had something about our governer, a blurb about a teen who was killed in a car wreck, then something else... freestyle ski competitions or something to that effect. Anyway... so the news starts (opening music and animations) and one of the photos in the animation is of the train depot in Boise... and finally I got this connection. On April 7th of last year, I was watching Channel 7's 5 o'clock news cast... the very first story was about a car wreck that killed two of my friends (that's when I first learned that they were killed). Like I said, when Channel 7's 5 o'clock news cast starts, it shows the Train Depot in downtown Boise in the opening animation... well... April 7th was the day that my high school held their prom... at the Train Depot... Kinda odd, huh? The 7's and the Train Depot... how they pair up... More than likely it means nothing at all, just a coincidence. I never really made the connection until I heard the blurb about the teen that was killed in a car wreck. Yeah, I think of the stupidest stuff, I know...

03/22/02

Well... yesterday afternoon I had to take softball stats again. And I thought that the game against Capital was bad... So I get to my school's softball field, and the school management had their maintenance crew out burning weeds and stuff along the ditchbank, so all this smoke and ash was coming right towards us the whole time the game was going on. What was really funny was that a tree caught on fire... so during the 4th inning of the game, all you could here was the sirens from two fire trucks that were putting out a 30-foot tree that was on fire. By the time I got home I smelled like smoke, and my eyes were red and itchy, not to mention I was caughing up a lung. Not really fun...

On Wednesday I found someone on xy.com... I sent him an email but I haven't received anything back from him. But I'm not in a big hurry or anything, so it doesn't matter to me if he replies my email or not.

And today I had to go with the softball team to Oregon, and for the most part the conditions were much better! Some smoke in the first two or three innings, but nothing too serious.

::headache::

Ugh... GOD do I have one terrible headache... I had to take pictures of a talent show at my high school, and for the most part all of the performers were good... MOST of them. There were two bands that went up and just made a racket if anything. So I came home, took some Excederin, and it's burning off now, but the headache still remains.

That aside all is going quite well. I've filled out some college apps (finally) and now I just have to send them out. Well... today was kind of a blah day... the next few days seem like they'll be the same too. More like the next week and a half... SPRING BREAK!!

There's a new resteraunt here in town, on the 25th to the 27th they'll be accepting applications for all positions, I though that I'd go down there and apply. And someone had some posters up in the school hallways about this place hiring people... tomorrow (during parent-teacher conferences) I'll go down and see if I can get a copy of that poster, or write down the stuff so that I can call them and see if I can get a job over there.

I went onto XY.com and I found someone from my area. I dropped him a line... we'll have to see how it goes though.

And finally... a cool pic that I stole off of the City of Boise's webcam...

03/19/02

Sometimes I'm actually happy with some of the things that I do :)

Today during lunch I was talking to Jacob (not Jake, the guy who was supposed to meet me a few weeks ago... Jacob is one of my friends at school) and for the most part, although it hinders some stuff for me, we pretty much agreed not to talk about my sexuality. Me talking about it is something that has gotten me into a fair amount of hot water with some people. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm the minority… and only a few other people see things the way I do. And for people, such as Jacob, what's "normal" for me is totally disgusting to him. And up until a few weeks ago, it never really occurred to me that other people could see my potential actions as something that would condemn me to hell for all of eternity. Like with Cody, I kept on telling him about these guys in the area that I have been emailing and such, but it never entered into my mind that homosexuality is something that he's not comfortable with. He never told me to shut up about it, so I kept on telling him all of this stuff and I finally pushed his limits too far... Now he rarely talks to me, and if I do talk to him, he treats me so... like I'm a lesser person than he is. Anyway... when I asked Jacob if me talking to him about me being bisexual made him feel awkward, he flat out said, "yeah, it makes me feel real uncomfortable when you talk about it." He said it in a nicer tone that what it looks like, he wasn't real snitty or anything like that. And then I said, "It's not my intention to make you feel uncomfortable or awkward, but since you told me I'll leave that out of our conversations from now on." Then I said something about how I liked it that he told me that he felt out of place, because I'd rather have him tell me than to have him treat me like the way Cody does, which is just ignoring me for the most part. Then I walked around the hallways to find Shay, he said that for the most part he really doesn't mind me telling him all of what's going on. For the most part, my friends really don't care if I talk to them about it, it's just that a few of them don't. And unless they tell me to leave them alone, I really don't get the message until after the damage has been done.

But before all of that, I went into my first hour class about 20 minutes before class started to drop off my bag and talk to the teacher, something that I do almost every day. So we're talking, and she motions her hand to me, wanting me to walk towards her desk. As I'm walking, she reaches over and picks up a briefcase off of the ground, and she told me that she bought something last night. I opened up the case and there was a new Toshiba notebook that she bought for herself. She said that when I was done with my stuff for her class that she wanted me to install some software on it (PageMaker, Acrobat, some photo software too). And this is a REALLY nice machine... 20 gigabyte hard drive, DVD/CD-RW combo drive, 1.1 gigahertz, 256 megs of RAM, needless to say this thing hauls!! She also added that she splurged on it, but he added by saying that it was well worth it.

Moving on... today I had to take down stats for my school's softball team, which was a very interesting first for me. The coach (my American Government teacher) sat down beside me and quickly went over how to take the notes and what to write and such, but for most of the game I had at least one of the players on the team sitting beside me helping me out. It was only their 4th game of the season, and if all goes well I'll be taking stats for the rest of the season.

Weeell, I need to send out some emails (like I do almost every night) and then I gotta get ready to hit the sack... so... later folks!

Is this a GOOD WAY TO START OFF THE WEEK?!?!?

Okay... today was very odd...

At about 7:00 or so this morning, someone threw a large rock through the window of a classroom at my school, and that really pissed off the school administration, as well as all of the teachers.

I walked over to my 5th hour class, which is held in a different building than that of the main high school. While I was walking across the church parking lot, I saw a blue Jeep Cherokee driving around, doing cookies on the pavement.

The teacher that I'm an aide for is going on maturnaty leave later this week, and her and the school arranged for a substitute to come in for a few weeks while she's away. The sub and I were talking for a little bit... he lives really close to me. For some reason he reminds me alot of my biology teacher that I had my sophomore year... anyway... So he's talking to one of the guys in the class, who's this big computer nerd, as is the sub. And the sub kept on saying "My partner has this... my partner has that..." in reference to video cards and computer cases and such. And this teacher is like... 35-40 years old... so even if he's gay, he's WAY too old for me... plus he's not really the hottest guy his age I've seen either.

And during lunch, there were these two guys in the cafeteria... I've never seen them before... And a sophomore at my school had a rainbow colored umbrella that he had extended and was twirling around. One of the teachers got after him... not because of the colors or anything... but because it was taking up too much room in the hallway.

So, lunch finished up and I walked home. I got to the City park (which is like... 8 houses away from where I live) and the people in a blue Jeep Cherokee drive up into the parking lot, and ask me if I'll run down to the store and buy some cigarettes for them. All I said was, "It's not happenin'" and I kept on walking home. BUT WAIT... the people in the Jeep were the same two guys in the school during lunch... hmm... interesting how little things flow together?

Wow...

OMG that was such an interesting movie about Matthew Shepard... really sad too. One thing that I didn't like about the movie was how it jumps around in time. That's one thing that really confuses me the first time I watch something, then I have to watch it again and repiece it so that it goes in chronological order, then it makes more sense to me. Blah blah blah... I'm rambling :) But yeah, it was a pretty good movie. There was one scene, when Matt's character in the movie was leaving the restroom at the bar, when he looked off to the side at something, and for a brief second, maybe a few frames at the most, he looked alot like one of the original photos of the real Matthew that you see all over the internet. Another thing that kinda played tricks on my mind was when Sam Waterston was addressing the court towards the end of the movie. He was up there at the podium, and I though that he would start cross-examining someone (too much Law and Order, huh? Actually, I don't think I've ever watched a whole episode of Law and Order before) But that scene in to movie was for me the most emotional one... that and when he and his wife are at the fence (which hasn't happened in real life BTW)

Anywho... I got some English homework done... as much as I could get done since my teacher still has the papers that I need. *whoops* I only have three days of school this week, then it's spring break. What I forgot to mention in yesterdays post was that I dropped off an application at Albertons, I mean... I job is a job... so what if I'm bagging groceries at a grocery store that charges an arm and a leg. At least I don't shop there :) Naa... somewhat high prices aside, they're very nice and professional... and their stores are cleaner and well-kept as compared to others. Another thing that I like is that they're stores are always cool inside, like 67-69 degrees, and that's just perfect for me.

And finally... proof that my cats go hungry ;)

Interesting day...

Ugh... Cory... one of my brother's friends... stayed the night with us. That means that he slept in my bed... *gags*. (My brother and I share a bedroom) I HATE it when other people sleep in my bed... Cory especially. I've only been inside of his house a few times, and his parents have very poor hygene habits around the house. You walk in and *POOF* there's this strong stench that inundates you. So when he stays the night over here, one my bed smells like him so I have to wash EVERYTHING... (sheets, pillow, pillowcase, comforter), and two the bedroom stinks for the rest of the day unless I open up the windows and I vacuum and dust it. Since the two of them were in my room, I had to sleep out on the couch, which I really don't like doing either, even worse, my dad had to work today, so he was up at 4:30. My dad was fairly quiet this time, which was nice, but I probably wouldn't have noticed that had one of my cats left me alone instead of licking my neck, which woke me up. Oh... and I had a really nice dream... I forgot what it was about... it wasn't as sexual as the last one, I know that for sure.

Oh... it's 8:00pm... the Matthew Shepard story is on Channel 7... *taping it*

Earlier today I had to take Cory back home, and along the way I had to stop at one of his "friends" (some guy named Wade) house in Caldwell so that Cory could pick up his computer... ugh... what a dump. I've heard some thing about Cory, and seriously I don't know why he and my brother are even friends. Wow... what a strong part in the movie... Okay, back to Cory... Yeah, I'm taping the Matthew Shepard thing... parents. NOW, CORY... so I take him back to his place on the other side of Caldwell, and my brother deceides to stay with him. No problem there... they've done it before. My brother calls and says that he's going with Cory and his folks back to Wade's to get the computer... that was at 4. 7:15 comes around and my brother hasn't called back, so I take my mom over to Wade's little ghetto hell-hole so that we can get my brother. So my mom goes up to the door... it's just my brother and Cory there... Wade and Cory's parents weren't there... we all go home, my mom chewing my brother's ass off the whole way home. So... that's that.

Hmm... interesting movie... it looks really overdramatic though... Hey, well, I'm gonna post this then I'll watch the movie, so later! (WHAT?!?! Ten minutes into the movie and one of the murders is found guilty?!?! Isn't this going kinda fast?)

First of all, the Treasure Valley has some of the STUPIDEST drivers I have ever seen before IN MY LIFE... I was going down the boulevard in Caldwell, following someone named "Cramit" (as she's known amungst the power plant supporters) Anyway, she was driving her blimp all over the place... she'd have the driver's side tires one foot over on the left lane, then she'd gradually move to the other side of the road and kick up the loose dirt and gravel the shoulder of the road. The only nice thing was that she was going 50 in a 45. Thank GOD she turned off onto a different road... Then I went off of the boulevard onto the road to my place, and the lady in front of me (not Cramit, someone else) completely missed the green light at the stop light. After waiting 10 seconds at a green light, I gave a blast of the horn to get her attention, but that didn't do anything. So all in all I had to wait through a whole set of lights just to get through the intersection because of that damn lady.

Oh... gosh... this is SO embarassing... this morning I had a very nice yet somewhat odd dream... more like a 'fantasy' really. I was in a locker room (for what reason I don't know) and there's this guy off to my right that's talking. I couldn't recognize what he was saying, but it caught my attention none the less. So I turn to my right, and I see him... he's standing there (yes... naked) behind a partition (along the wall off to my right were some urinals with partitions between them, he was standing between two of the partitions... on the opposite side of the urinals were some regular stalls). I finally see this person, and he's a full-blooded Iranian... with somewhat long hair parted down the middle. He asked me something... I forget what... then I wake up. Now... I'm not trying to be racist or anything, but I really don't know how attractive full-blooded Iranians are... mainly because I don't know of any personally (there was one who went to my school a few years ago, but has since graduated... he was okay looking, but I've seen better). I know that Nick is 1/4 Iranian, but by looking at him you really couldn't tell all that much.

And I'm also still trying to find a new host for my Blogger... since GeoCities is cancelling their remote FTP. 7h.com wouldn't let me remote FTP either, and I made an account on Bravehost. The wierd thing about Bravehost is that I transferred all of the photos that I have that I use for my Blogger thing to my new account, but when I type in the address for the photos, I get this stupid message saying that Internet Explorer can't reach the server. Eh well, I still have like what... three weeks until GeoCities goes belly-up on me.

Well... that's my life for now. Later folks!

*music* We're having a heat wave
a tropical heat wave
the temperature's rising
it isn't suprising
Mother Nature certainly can can can...

Yesterday I went with the softball team into Boise so that I could take some pictures... MY GOD IT WAS COLDER THAN HELL OUT THERE!! Their screwy AD had the restrooms right by the softball field locked up, so I had to trek to the school about 3 times just so that I could take a leak. Anywho... it was a good game, we won 7-1. We got back to the school, and I asked Amanda if I could bump a ride off of her, and she said that I could. We walked over to her can and then she gave out a really loud scream, followed by her yelling "Oh my God" about 10 times. lol... someone left a dead ground squirrel on the windshield of her car. She took off one of her shoes and flung it onto the pavement of the parking lot, then she took me home. It's really something to see her after one of her other friends (either Sam or Jordan) did that to her... the whole 2 minute drive (or 15 minute walk) from the school to my house consisted of her venting out all of these ways to get them back in revenge.

Eh... what else... I've only received 2 emails from Jake so far this week. Since he got kicked out of his house earlier this week, our communication is about as dead as the squirrel that was on Amanda's windshild. I suppose it's something that I'll have to get used to, until he gets a phone that he can use (be it a cell phone or a regular one). Before he got kicked out, his stepsister would take him to school and then she would go to class (she had a zero-hour class, he doesn't) and Jake would hop on a computer and send me an email at like 7:15 in the morning, and I'd reply it so that he'd get it before his lunch, then during lunch he'd send me an email back and so on and so on.

Well... I have to leave here in a bit to take some more photos, so TTFN!

So... emotional

Wow... I swear like 9,246 things are going on... and it's emotionally draining me SO MUCH!!

Over the weekend I missed 2 softball and a baseball game that I was *supposed* to take pictures of, that's one thing that's been bugging me.

I got an email from Jake this morning, turns out his parents kicked him out of his house. To a point that really didn't bother me all that much... from what he's told me, his parents seem like real whack cases anyway. But then, it brings up a ton of questions... like what did he do to get his ass kicked out of his parent's place? Was it because of something he said... was he caught doing drugs... stuff like that. I mean... so what if he's had a small brush-in with the law... that's not a real turn-off for me. Nor is it a big turn-off if he has a bit of a temper every now and then. But on a larger scale, yeah, it's something to be concerned about. So now he's with a friend, and she doesn't have a house phone, just a cell phone, so he can't call me... which is okay since we email each other like twice a day during the school week. We've been doing a crappy job trying to arrange some way to meet in person. Even in his emails, I can tell that he feels so... not himself...

Well... onto something more uplifting... my mom woke up yesterday to find Joe, one of our cats, sleeping in the bathroom sink. Why it is that he decided to sleep in the sink is way beyond me... but both of my cats have been acting very odd lately. Gomez all of a sudden has this big interest as to what's on the other side of the furnace room door (which, from the hallway, is the furnace), Joe has gotten this jumping streak in him... he's been walking on the tables and countertops (and bathroom sinks too) and he's been warned about it. But they're cats - it's not like they know what they're doing is wrong.

On Satuday, we got a new printer, and we gave our old one to my grandmother in Boise. The new printer is a Lexmark Z43, and I LOVE IT!! Sure, it's bigger and louder than our old Canon BJC2100, but it's SO much better!!

Ohkey...

As seen on one of my online friend's away message on AOL:

Sorry I can't talk right now. I'm doing something that I really enjoy. I like to do it up and down, and side to side. I like to do it three times a day and I never miss it once. I like to swish it around and spit it out. So when I get done brushing my teeth, I'll get back to you.

Ready for the weekend

Jake called me at 2:15 this afternoon... and somehow we manage to talk for an hour... but this time it was really odd... We keep hitting these roadblocks... we talk and talk and talk... then we have nothing to talk about. Then we talk about some stupid minute thing. Ugh... maybe us talking EVERY DAY is a bit TOO much. He's nice and all... but I feel so awkward whenever we get that silence when we're on the phone. My dad has Tuesday and Wednesday off, that should give Jake and myself more time to... collect ourselves...? But yeah... he's really into music... he was in his school's choir, but he transferred out at semester, he didn't like the teacher, and it conflicted with another class that he needed to take in order to graduate. He was in football and wrestling, but he quit both of those. Football he quit because he broke a bone in his foot, and he couldn't finish off the season. And with wrestling, he quit because for one thing his dad (real dad... not his step-dad) was the coach, and secondly because he's rolling around with other guys. Oh... that leads me to another thing... atleast through my eyes, his parents are kinda wierd... like the other day his mom got mad at him for not putting their cordless phone back in it's base when he was done so that it could charge. When we were talking today, he said that he was on a corded phone in his bedroom :) So atleast this guy learns from his mistakes! While we've talked for nearly 4 hours on the phone this past week, I still have no clue if he's really even my type... for anything more than a friendship anyway. He really doesn't get my sarcasm, so most of the time I have to be 95% serious with him... he knows his body more than I know mine (apparently any beverage with large amounts of caffine in the morning/him taking naps in the afternoon makes him cranky... how the HELL he knows that is beyond me... there have been times when I've had a Pepsi in the morning and I'm just fine). And he always tells me that he's been SO hyper all day long... but half the time he sounds as if he's going to fall asleep while we're on the phone. I suppose it's one of those cases where we'll just have to give it time before we'll find out if there's any chance of any meaningful relationship between us.

lol... it snowed AGAIN today... well... more like tiny bits of hail. It was falling all over me, and when I looked at it, it looked like small little balls, not like snowflakes. But that's weather in Idaho for you... sunny and in the 60's on day, snowing and colder than hell the next.

Gosh I need to shave... I have like 4 days of stubble on my face... lol... yeah, I'm THAT lazy... I want to frost my hair, shave off my goatee... now that I have short hair, and can do that... make myself look... different.

Hmm... well... it's 8:00 pm (although my time thing below says something different... I'm typing this up in Notepad first, then after I get some emails typed up, I'll get online and post this and send out the emails) and like I just said, I have some emails to send out, so that's that for now.

I'm still here :)

Yeah, I've been busy lately. My American Government teacher, who also is my school's softball coach, wanted me to make a program thing that includes photos of the players and their stats. Once he gives me the stats I'll make them :)

For the past 3 afternoons I've been talking to Jake from Boise. It's really wierd... we start talking... then we get that uncomfortable silence... then we start talking again... then silence... and so on. Somehow we managed to talk for 45 minutes on all 3 days, that's a good thing I suppose. For the time being, it's kinda hard for us to meet... but I'm sure that we'll manage until the time is right. The only thing is... we both have short schedules at school... so we talk from like 2:15 to 3... and that's usually the time I'm on the internet. Tyson and Shawn both have short schedules, and we usually talk on AOL before our folks get home. So... now that I've been talking to Jake... Shawn and Tyson both get left out :( Sooo... maybe later today or tomorrow I'll send those two an email... so they know what's going on and all - me not being able to be on AOL because I'm using the phone line to talk to Jake... and that I still know that they're there and... yeah...

Hmm... what else... I got a haircut yesterday (yay), so now I look SEXY! lol... yeah... I know... So after lunch yesterday I went down to a place here in town. I opened up the door, and the lady's calico cat came running to me, instantly rubbing up against me and purring SO LOUD... While I was waiting for the person ahead of me to get his haircut, the cat was sitting on my lap... purring... doing that thing where they flex their paws... shedding all over the place... lol... I swear I left with half of the cat on me!

Today it snowed... and what's so odd was that none of the local meterologists had predicted it! Luckily there were no accidents due to it.

Well... that's about it for now! Later folks!

I should be doing homework...

Goes to show how productive I am, huh?

Well, today I got an email from Jake. He's really nice, and he ALWAYS emails me back! That is so nice... he'll email me at like 7:15 from a computer at his school, then I'll reply it before my classes start (which is 8:15), and then during his lunch he replies the email that I sent out that morning, then either during lunch or when I get home, I email him back, and the whole thing starts over the next day. The only thing is... and it's nothing against Jake... I've been in touch with him the most out of the handful of people here in the valley... but for some reason I feel like I understand him the least. Tyson and Shawn are also very nice, but for some unknown reason, Jake is kinda blurry to me... and I really don't know why.

lol... today during lunch, I was sitting at a table when some people came to sit down. One of them, Anne, knows that I'm bisexual (long story... somehow Jake - someone at my school - not the Jake mentioned above - found out that I was bi, then he told Anne). So Anne, Sheena, and three guys sat down pretty much all at the same time. One of the guys went proclaiming that Sheena deliberately chose the straighest banana (you can probably guess why... lol). Then one of the guys... well... to put it loosley... tried to jack the banana off... Then he made comments like "Sheena knows alot about bananas being in her mouth" and other guttery stuff like that. Anne was getting as much of a kick out of it as I was, then I went to Anne and whispered into her ear, "It's kinda odd how so many heterosexual guys find so much of an interest in bananas." She gave me this weird smirk, then started laughing... lmao... GOD it was funny... Afterwards, I went back to my seat, and one of the guys wanted to know what I had told Anne. All I said was, "Hey, it was an inside joke." in a sarcastic tone.

On Thursday through Saturday, I attended my school's basketball tournaments in Meridian (where I was supposed to meet Jake), and trust me, after hearing your school's fight song about 15 times over the course of three days, it really gets annoying. But there's part of it that has me thinking:

Fight for the fame of (my school's name) High
Now and forever don't let her die
To her spirit we'll be true, so
Fight for the colors GOLD AND BLUE...

It's the middle two lines: "...don't let her die" | To her spirit..." It's like our school (apparently my high school is female... how one would know it's gender is uncertain) is alive in one line, then dead in the next... anyway... that probably means NOTHING at all... I'm just ranting.

And as for the teacher that's moving to Nebraska, I found out why she's moving to Nebraska. Since about September of 2001, she's been dating one of her former professors from college. (He's 50, she's 49... that's what she said anyway) She went to college when she was in her late 30's, and they were "social friends" afterwards. Oddley enough, back then, they were both had children and were divorced at about the same time. And for the past 5 years or so, they have been regularly going out on dates and such. Now, the real interesting part of all of this is, both have family in Nebraska. So this summer, they're moving from Idaho to Nebraska to be with their families, and maybe even get married.

Well... I have to wait for my mom to get off the phone so that I can post this up... then I have some English homework to do (fun... I know)

Ugh...

So GeoCities is REALLY making me mad... I'm trying to set up my Blogger on a site that I made through 7h.com, but it's not working... I keep getting error messages whenever I try to update my posts... some things really tick me off. So, as of April 2, I'll have to MOVE MY BLOGGER AGAIN!!

Anywho... took some neat sunset pics last night, as well as one of a bumpersticker:

And proof that I paid TOO MUCH getting some pictures back a few days ago:

I was supposed to meet Jake yesterday at my school's basketball tournament, but he never showed up. I called him before I left, and he wasn't sure if he could make it. I'll be in his area (not immediate area, but like 10-15 miles from where he lives) this Saturday, so we'll try to arrange meeting up there.

Well... nothing really much going on...

WAAAA!!

Yeeks... it's been a few days since I've written in this! Well... here it goes...

On Wednesday, a student at my school (David) was in a car wreck. With his luck, the person he hit was the ag teacher at my high school, and the person following David was a government/history teacher. From what I've heard, he was driving down the highway, going 45 miles an hour (the speed limit is 50). He reached up to pull his sun visor down, and he slammed on the brakes and turned the wheel sharply to the left. The front end of his truck scraped the rear end of the ag teacher's truck, and David's truck went into oncoming traffic. Luckily, a semi passed David going the opposite direction about 2 seconds before he made the sharp left turn, and about 5 seconds later (when David and his truck were on the shoulder) another semi went barroling by at 50 miles an hour. All in all, he's fine, perhaps shaken up a little. David was really close friends with Patrick and Matthew, both of whom died last April in a car wreck, and several of their friends were scared and concerend for David, since this hits REALLY close to home for them.

Yesterday my school's guy's basketball team played in Meridian. The only way I could get there was to take the bus with the cheerleaders. They left the school at 3:15 to go to an exercise place in Boise, where I later found out Shawn works at. (He told me where he works a few weeks ago, but I didn't know that where he works and the place that the cheerleaders went to practice was the same place!) So I was there for about 10-15 minutes, and in walks Shawn. He kinda noticed me, but he didn't say anything, which was perfectly fine by me. He left a few minutes later, and this morning while I was at school, I sent him an email explaining that I didn't know that where he worked and where the cheerleaders went to practice was the same place, and that I didn't intend on him feeling uncomfortable or anything like that. I got home and got on the internet, and later he came on AOL, and I talked to him about it. I was over here flipping out, but it didn't seem to bother him at all that I was there. So that was a big relief.

I was supposed to meet Jake at Meridian last night, but he didn't show up. He felt bad about it, and he sent me an email. I said it was no problem, that we could try again. So now we've planned on meeting tonight at Meridian. I called him at about 3:15, and we talked for about 5 minutes. He seems nice, he's really gay though (the whole voice thing... he was rummaging through his bag looking for some paper to write on, and he's whistling and humming). I still have no clue what he looks like, but if he's at Meridian tonight, I will get to see what he looks like :)

And today I found out that one of my best teachers that I've had is moving to Nebraska this summer :( I first had her my sophomore year for newspaper, and for the past two years I've had her for yearbook and newspaper both. I'm graduating here in a few months, and I'm moving to northern Idaho, 450 miles or so from here. She'll be in Nebraska... I'm assuming that she's going to teach there as well, she's been teaching here for 13 years.

Well... that's my rant for now.
