Happy b-day to me!

Yep... as of 11:45 this morning, I'm finally 18! I still feel like I'm 17 though :)

My mom and her boss, Barbara, came into my first hour class with 18 helium balloons. Barbara then proceeded to sing "Happy Birthday" to me in her high pitched Tweety-Bird voice, which she does to me almost every year. I'm starting to want a summer birthday... like my brother... that way Barb can't embarass me like that :P First hour is my newspaper class, and I'm a teacher's pet with the advisor (have been for 3 years now). So after my mom and Barb left, she gave me this card:

Aside from that, I'm trying to arrange places and times to meet Jake and Ty, but from the way it's going now, I probably won't meet any of them. I've been in contact with Ty for about 5 months, and Jake for 2, and every time we arrange to meet, something happens and we can't. That bugs me a little bit, but what really jerks my chain is that the whole time that I've been in touch with them, I still have no clue what they look like, aside from what they have told me in emails and on AOL chat sessions.

*snores*

Yeah... nothing much going on...

Found out that one of my cats likes vanilla ice cream. I was having some last night, he was sitting by me and he kept on meowing at me. So when I was almost finished, I scooped up a bit of ice cream out of the bowl with my spoon, and I let him have some. He really didn't get the concept of a spoon - he kept licking the melted ice cream off of the bottom of the spoon instead out of the top of it. But what does he know - he's a cat.

Shopping time!

On Saturday, my mom, brother, and I all went to Boise to go shopping at Boise's large mall. We went to Sears first to shop for clothes, and I got some nice dress pants and shirt, complete with a tie and a *gasp* $23 belt (yeeks). And I also got an orangeish-reddish ribbed long sleeve shirt, and a green and navy shirt. So I'm happy... all I need is some PANTS! Afterwards we went to a DQ Express (it was called something else, it was owned by DQ anyway, they only had ice cream products and drinks) and behind us were two HOT fruitcakes! One of them had a striped shirt on, a thumb ring on his right thumb, and on each wrist he had 2 black bracelets, 2 white ones, and a pink one. He also had a messenger bag on, and both of his ears had these big honking loops in them, and a dud right below his bottom lip to top it off. Some of that stuff aside, he was kinda hot! His boyfriend was hispanic, dressed in a hunter green shirt and khaki cargo pants, he looked more straight acting.

After our little drink at the DQ, my mom had my brother call some of our relatives on our cell phone, and we arranged to have dinner at Applebee's. We met them there at 7, we got there at 6:45 or so. Which was good considering that there was a 20 minute wait. We got a seat, and my uncle ordered some poppers. I was okay with that, then when they came he offered some to me. Not knowing that they contained jalepeneo peppers in them. All in all they were okay, I only had two of them though. But I swear like 1/2 of the male bussers at Applebee's were hot as well... some of the girls were too :)

Anywho... today's going good. I got to open up presents and stuff... celebrating my birthday today, although it's not until Tuesday. I got some money, clothes, and an Eddie Bauer coffee mug :) I'm not much for coffee... but I'm gradually getting used to it.

And on Friday I had to help set up my school's Sadie Hawkins dance... that was okay... nothing too special about that.

Whelp... that's about it for now.

Red X's SUCK!!

So for who knows how long, I've been trying to get images in my Blog thing. I was able to snatch photos off of Channel 7's web page, but when I try to do it off of my GeoCities account, all I get is a box with a white "X" in it. So I'm in the process of going through 7h.com (whoever they are... they seem okay though) and we'll see what happens.

02/02/02

Kinda neat, huh? Little palendrome... 02/02/02... hehe... and somehow 8:02 tonight somehow works its way into the whole 02 thing, but I'm not sure how... okay, now that THAT is over with...

Today was pretty much a blah day... nothing too special worth noting. Well... today I had to go down to the Moxie Java (a coffee shop) in Caldwell to drop off some papers. I was waiting for the manager to finish up with some customers, and these two guys towards the back of the room were checking me out. I don't mind that, it's just that they were college students sent me an odd signal. About a minute before I left two girls from my school just got there, and I talked to them for a few minutes then I left for home.

I've been emailing this guy in Boise, his name is Jake. He's 17, and he's gay... we're planning on meeting next week when my school plays in Meridian, so it's just a matter of time. What I was wanting to do was go to the Boise mall on the 2nd, do some shopping, and on the way to Meridian, stop by a Moxie Java in Boise where Ty works, meet him, and then go to Meridian to meet Jake. Just make a big loop around the valley, essentially. Ty was on AOL earlier today, and he said that he's not sure if he wants me to stop by to meet him. If he does, great, if not, that's fine too. But I have NO CLUE what Ty or Jake look like... they've only told me their descriptions... and by the sounds of it they're a lot alike physically.

And also today I talked to Kristopher from Nova Scotia. After making an ass out of myself on MSN, we finally started an actual conversation *gasp*. Apparenly, up until then, I didn't know where in Canada Nova Scotia is located in, or what time zone it's in for that matter. All in all, he seems like a cool person :)

What else... OH... tomorrow my school is playing Weiser... they're the one with the hot guitar player in their band! ::drools:: And #34 as well!! So yeah... I'll probably go to watch... I'll take pics next week when they play in Meridian.

Oh... 60 on Friday... GOD I HOPE SO!! That 80's Show is on tonight... that Asian guy is hot... just thought that I'd mention :)

"Kramer, he's just a dentist."

God I HATE dentists... I had a 2 o'clock appointment today to get mine cleaned. I took my mom's van from school to my house, got something to eat (another story about that later) and left for the dentist. Knowing my luck, I got to the dentist 20 minutes early, so I'm stuck in the waiting room reading a Consumer Reports while an air duct blows freezing air onto me. So all in all, everything is okay... I need to go back towards the end of March to get some wisdom teeth pulled out (fun)

And that other thing that I mentioned... here it is. I got home from school, and the first thing that I noticed was a broken wine glass sitting beside the coffee pot. There was broken glass beside it and on the floor... I went looking around for my dad, but I couldn't find him inside. So I went to the kitchen and opened up the cupboard above the fridge. I saw that there were three glasses left, and in a glass bowl off to the right I saw a book matches... at least I'm sure that's what I saw. I closed the cupboard because I heard my dad come up to the back door, and he walked by me and I could smell cigarette smoke... I though that he quit... back in June of 2000... He acted really guilty about it... I didn't confront him... but he seemed so... removed from the situation. I didn't worry about it all that much... perhaps not as much as I should have... or should be being right now... but soon afterwards I left to go to the dentist.

Return of #34

Yeah, I did go to the guys basketball game against Weiser... and I got some more pics with their #34 in it too :) I spent most of the 4th quarter just hitting on their guitarist in their band, and up until the end he was falling for it. (Which reminds me... Weiser has an AWSOME school song, ours is kinda blah...) Despite all of our conversation I never did get his name. At the end he said "well, I'll see you later". I'm thinking, "ya huh... RIGHT..." Unless he's a junior and I just happen to be at a game against Weiser, I'll probably NEVER see him again! Or if he is a senior, and if he's going to the same college as I am... Well... I tried anyway. Oh, and we won the game, 60-43. :D And during the game 3 guys from Weiser came with stuff painted on their shirts. They paid their way in without their shirts on, but once they got into the main gymnasium part, our AD made them put their shirts back on. Which was okay, since none of them were all that cute anyway.

Here's the guitar player:

And here's number 34:

This morning I had some cereal for breakfast, not realizing (mainy in part because my contacts weren't in) that the milk was not processed right. So it origionally had all this cream on the top, which my mom later told me she had to scape out with a knife because the milk wasn't coming out. Anyway, I eat my cereal and about 10 minutes afterwards I take a shower. While I'm in the shower I start to get a stomach ache :( Turns out the milk didn't go well with my innerds. After I got my contacts in I went to get some milk, then I noticed some cream was sticking to the plastic, and that the milk had a skin on the top with this grey stuff swirling around on it. That and I have a VERY BAD cold, I've been coughing up a lung and my throat is SO SORE... but that's part of life I suppose. So right now I feel like CRAP!

More explosions and maybe more to come to :P

So, 8:15 this morning, BANG!! That damn furnace did it AGAIN!! And this wasn't some little bang like it did on Tueday, this one litterally WOKE ME UP!! And yet again the pilot light went out again, so for most of the morning we were without any heat. That's kind of a bad thing when you have a natural gas furnace, if the pilot light goes out, your screwed. My mom didn't know how to light it, neither did I. So she went into Caldwell and got an air filter for it, as well as one of those long reach lighters so that she could reach into furnace to light it again. She came back home and a few hours my brother and myself went to WalMart so that my brother could get a second piercing in his ear, not too much in regards to that.

Tonight I have to take more pictures of the guys basketball game. I'm leaving early to watch some of the Fruitland-Payette game, then watch my team play Weiser. All four teams have some good lookin' guys... so you can kinda guess why there will be some more explosions coming :P (lol... but not until I get home...) But the only bummer is that my mom's friend is going to the game, and she wants my mom to come, so that kinda hinders things some.

And I was looking at my site statistics off of GeoCities... 261 views (waa...), and 39.63% have been refered to by my Blogger site... so that's... 104 hits to my page from my Blogger... interesting...

I was walking today through town, something that I do often just for the heck of it, and I came across something on the ground. I thought that it was a piece of obsidian. So I picked it up and took it home. When I got home I washed it off, only to see some plastic sticking out of it, and that it was very soft and light weight. Haha... it's not obsidian, it was a HUNK OF RUBBER that came off of a semi truck... God sometimes I AM SO STUPID...

Well... I'm gonna get something to eat then go to the game :)

Had a somewhat nice Valentine's day

Well... what's going on... yesterday was of course was Valentine's day. No, I don't have anyone special, so it was pretty much just a normal day for me.

My school's Leadership class was selling candy flowers, so I bought one for Scott and sent it to him with a small note, with out writing my name out on it. So he's probably wondering who sent him the flower, not knowing that it was me. Also my school has been hosting basketball tournements, all of the teams are smaller schools though. After I was done filling out my form thing so that Scott could get his flower, I went outside to see two ambulances outside treating a man who fell. He had a good sized cut on his forehead, and he had two teeth knocked out, but that aside he's fine.

My dad, being the sweetheart that he is, gave my mom a cell phone for Valentine's day. It's a neat little Nokia 3390, with service through VoiceStream. Too bad we only get 60 weekday minutes... that REALLY sucks... and the 500 weekend minutes seems to be TOO MUCH... why can't they just move some of the weekend minutes into the weekday ones? Huh? Is that too hard?

And my mom has been bugging the HELL out of me since she found out that I've been in contact with Nick. She's like that... she worries over EVER SINGLE THING... and she nags me about it and that in turn drives me insane.

Well... that's about it for now... later.

Blow ups... of several kinds ;)

Yesterday afternoon our furnace lit up (it's a natural gas furnace - it clicks on to heat up then after about 2 minutes the blowers turn on) and something happened - we heard this loud "BANG" and then one of the panels fell off of it and hit the door to the little room that it's in. The air filter fell out (it's like placeing a tile into those hang-down celings, you have to put it in at an odd angle, rotate it, then lower it in) and the pilot light went out as well, so we were without a furnace for a few hours until my dad got home. My mom knows how to light it, but she can't reach the spot where the pilot light is, and I can reach it, but I don't know where to light it. After it backfired or whatever the furnace gave off this hot smell, which smelled like a lot like smoke, so my dog was barking and running around with his tail between his legs because he was afraid. So that little incident was interesting to say the least.

And yesterday I had to take pictures of the guy's basketball district tournements that were being held at my school. When I got there, Fruitland and Weiser were playing each other... and OH MY THE GUYS!! WOW!! Not to mention with four teams competing in one building, there were A LOT of people there. I walked down there because my mom had to use her car, and it's a good thing that I did walk down because there's no way that I would have been able to find a parking spot! So I took my fare share of pictures, and for the first time in my three and a half years of taking pictures, I WAS HIT WITH THE BASKETBALL!! Right on my left thigh, where your hands normally rest when they're off to your side. It was sore for a few minutes, but it didn't bruise or anything.

Today in my English class, someone in the class went up to the board and wrote some silly little saying on it, something like "I smell a smell which smells likey a smelly smell." The teacher went up to the board, read it to himself, then said, "Okay... that's nice to know." Then he erased it. It's really not anything worth mentioning, but oh well.

Big Time News

Note: All of these events happened on Saturday, February 9th. I finally got around to posting this up!

Okay... here's what happened...

I left home at about 6:20 PM. I was planning on taking a road from where I live which intersects the road that Shawn's school is on, the intersection is about 15 miles down this road from here. Well, that road was blocked off about half way there, so I had to take a detour. Since I wasn't familiar with all of the side roads, I made about 5 wrong turns. All in all, I got to Shawn's school at about 7:15. That's right - my trip that was to take only 30 minutes was almost an hour long because of my not-so-good navigaitonal skills. I paid my way in, to see that there's 4 minutes left of the 3rd quarter of the JV game, and inside the gym I walked right by Shawn about 6 times before I had another cheerleader point him out (he looked a little different than what he does on his picture that he sent me - but still not bad looking either). Once I spotted him, he got up from the bleachers, and looked right at me. I, along with God knows how many people, were standing my a door that went from the lobby to the gym. So he gets up, walks across the short-end of the gym to the doors on the ohter side, where there's no one blocking the doorway. So I walk out to the lobby and he comes walking towards me. As he walked by me, I said: "Hey, you're Shawn, right?" He looked at me, said yes, I said who I was and we shook hands. He was on his way to the restroom, so I let him go :) I'm waiting in the lobby area and someone who I know comes up and talks to me (I dont know personally - he's one of the Booster Club members from my high school, and he works the concession stand every now and then at my school at sporting events). While I'm talking to this person, Shawn walks out from the restroom and goes into the gym. I quickly end my conversation with this other person, and I went into the gym to talk to Shawn. I went up to him and he told me that he wanted to wait until the end of the game to talk to me. The game FINALLY ends (Shawn's school won the game, 61-53) and I went over to meet him yet again. He got his coat on and told me that he had to move a table from the lobby into a storage room. He took the table and went through the gym floor. I lost him in the crowd, so I waited where I last talked to him. And waited... and waited... and waited... fed up after 25 minutes of waiting I left for home.

I really didn't know where to put it up there in the paragraph up above, but while I was there at the game I bought a raffle ticket so that I had a chance of winning one of 13 different cakes. Well... I won one :) They announced it at the start of the 3rd quarter. It *was* a white cake with strawberry frosting with those little heart candy things stuck on the frosting.

I got home at 10:45 (after a 30 minute drive home), and at about 11:00 I came out to my mom, and we talked for about half an hour about it. I've been kinda under-the-weather the past few days, setting up things so that I can meet Shawn and all. So while my mom and I were talking, she basically said that she kinda had a instinct that I had a homosexual side to me, but she said that she'd leave it up to me to tell her instead of her confronting me about it. Although we talked for half an hour about it, most of it was somewhat repedative, but all in all she's fine with it.

Aww... now I'm kinda sad :(

My mom and I were on the carport crushing old boxes down. One of our neighbor's rabbits ecsapes from it's cage thing outside, and one of their dogs kills it. The owner came out a minute later, and saw the dog with the rabbit in it's mouth. Then she yelled out (very loud) "PUMA!!" This happened like 1/2 an hour ago...

2/1/02... continued...

Okay, Weiser's #34... OMG I swear I couldn't believe that I went through the whole game without getting too perky (if you get my drift). I got some pictures of him along side some of our team members during some free-throws. Had a great body, cute butt... everything! Not too hairy, not smooth either. Amanda was there, and I went up to her and asked her what she thought of him. She just got a big smile and said, "I want to go out on a date with him!" I smiled and said, "me too!" At least we share the same tastes in men ;-) Once I get the pics back I'll put one up of him up on here.

Yesterday I went to an Albertson's in Caldwell to pick up some applications. I got some from the store in Eagle, but I messed up on it when I was filling it out. So I drove to Albertsons and picked up two applications (and a 10 pound bag of flour that my mom needed, just happened to be on sale too... not to mention there were also some good lookin' baggers working there too). On my way out, I got a pop from their 25 cent pop machine by the building. I plopped in a quarter, pressed the button, *bang bang bang*... no pop... Disappointed, I moved over to the next machine, put in a quarter, pressed the button... *poof* got my pop. As I was walking away, I heard some noises coming from the first machine, and out came my first pop. So I put both of them in the bag with the flour, and went to the car to go home. As I was walking to the car, a train started going by, about a mile from Albertsons. About 3 minutes later I was out of the parking lot and waiting in line for the train to go by. And I waited... and waited... and waited... and waited some more. Here it is, almost 5 in the afternoon, and this gigantic train has to go by - JUST MY LUCK. Finally it passes, and a string of cars in the opposite direction drive past me. I look ahead to see this string of cars goes from the tracks all the way to the top of a hill about 1/2 of a mile away, which has a 2 way stop, and people were stopped behind the stop sign, even back to the I-84 overpass, which is 1/4 of a mile from the 2 way stop. Needless to say I was a bit suprised to see THAT much traffic in Caldwell. Maybe in Boise, but not in Caldwell.

And I changed my Blogger layout… this one looks nice I think. I’ll change my webpage around when I feel like it :-P

Hmm… what else… today is Super Bowl Sunday blah blah blah… eh… that’s about it.

EYE CANDY

Yeah, I just got back from the guys basketball against Weiser - OMG! Their number 34 WAS SO HOT! And the best part was that we were winning when I left (51-30 with 2:00 left in the 4th). It's late at night, so I'll type more tomorrow - stuff about the game and what else is going on.
